Job Description Industrial Project Manager (MEP Construction) We are seeking an experienced Industrial Project Manager with mechanical construction expertise to lead projects in chemical, food and beverage, automotive, oil and gas, and manufacturing environments. This role manages projects from bid through closeout, ensuring safe, on-time, and on-budget delivery. The position is based in Kansas City with 15–20% regional travel to industrial jobsites. Compensation & Benefits • Salary: $80,000–$125,000, based on experience, • Retirement: 401(k) with 3% fully vested company contribution plus discretionary match, • Time Off: Immediate PTO, holidays, birthday pay, and volunteer time off, • Insurance: Company-paid life, disability, and EAP; medical with HSA, dental, and vision, • Manage mechanical construction projects or support senior leaders on large-scale industrial builds, • Lead field teams and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and project documentation, • Manage schedules, budgets, profitability, and project accounting, • Communicate effectively with clients, inspectors, and internal teams, • Minimum 5 years of mechanical construction project management experience in industrial settings, • High school diploma/GED plus a bachelor's degree in construction or mechanical engineering, 5+ years of mechanical trade experience, or equivalent combination, • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record, • Ability to pass background check and drug screening, • Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, or similar tools, • Knowledge of industrial codes, OSHA regulations, HVAC, plumbing, piping, and process systems, • PMP or similar project management certification, • Experience managing multi-million-dollar industrial mechanical projects, • Regular site visits involving walking uneven terrain, climbing ladders, and stairs, • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally, • Work in industrial and outdoor environments with weather exposure, • 15–20% regional travel, • Standard office work with extended computer use
