Job Description • Manage a civil litigation caseload with a high level of independence, • Handle matters involving insurance defense, construction litigation, premises liability, commercial disputes, employment matters, and related civil litigation issues, • Develop case strategy and move files forward efficiently from intake through resolution, • Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, correspondence, and other litigation documents, • Take and defend depositions and attend hearings, mediations, and settlement conferences, • Communicate directly with clients, carriers, adjusters, experts, and opposing counsel, • Evaluate risk, exposure, and case value, and provide practical recommendations, • Support trial preparation and, if experienced, take an active role in trial work, • J.D. from an accredited law school, • Active Colorado bar license, • 5+ years of civil litigation experience, • Ability to independently manage and move files, • Strong writing, advocacy, and case strategy skills, • Experience with depositions, hearings, mediations, and motion practice, • Insurance defense experience preferred, • Additional licensure in Wyoming or Nebraska is a plus Job Type: Full-time Benefits: • Dental insurance, • Paid time off, • Retirement plan, • Vision insurance
