Costa & Associates, P.A., a boutique, fast-growing family-law firm in Miami Lakes, is looking for a seasoned, detail-driven Family Law Paralegal who takes ownership of their work and their cases. We don’t need someone to assist. We need someone who already runs cases, who can open a file, instantly see what’s missing, and move it forward without having to ask the same questions on every file. The right person is meticulous to the core, takes pride in flawless work, and understands that precision protects clients and helps attorneys be effective and efficient. Compensation: $60,000 - $80,000 yearly Responsibilities: What You’ll Do • Be an integral part of the legal team and support the attorneys., • Independently manage a caseload of family-law matters (divorce, paternity, support, modifications, and enforcement), • Track and meet every deadline, disclosure, and hearing without requiring the attorney to remind you, • Draft and finalize pleadings, motions, parenting plans, and settlement agreements, • Review, cross-check, and reconcile financial documents (bank statements, paystubs, tax returns, and more against financial affidavits), • Communicate directly and professionally with clients, opposing counsel, and the courts, • Keep files organized, complete, and ready for court at all times, • Proven experience managing full Florida family-law cases independently — not assisting, not observing, • Deep working knowledge of Florida family-law procedures, filings, statutes and rules, • Extreme attention to detail, nothing gets past you, • Professional judgment, initiative, and follow-through, • Bilingual English/Spanish (Required), • Pride in your work and accountability for your results, • The ability to thrive in a growing firm that’s professional, structured, and evolvingAbout Company Our mission is to guide individuals and families through difficult moments with clarity, strategy, and integrity.
