Job Description We are hiring multiple Carpenter Apprentices for a large‐scale new construction project in South Florida, with openings across Miami‐Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties. This is an excellent opportunity for motivated individuals looking to grow their skills and advance within the construction trade. As a Carpenter Apprentice, you will support journeyman carpenters and site supervisors in building, installing, and maintaining structural and finish components on active job sites. Key Responsibilities • Assist with Framing — Support layout, measuring, cutting, and assembling wood and metal framing., • Material Handling — Load, unload, and stage materials for carpentry tasks., • Tool Operation — Safely use hand tools, power tools, and job‐site equipment under supervision., • Site Preparation — Help set up work areas, maintain cleanliness, and follow safety protocols., • Support Senior Carpenters — Assist with formwork, drywall, doors, hardware, and other carpentry tasks. Job Requirements These are the minimum requirements to be considered for this position. • Live within the area, • Have 8+ years’ experience as a paid handyman, • Own your own tools, • Be insurable for driving our vehicle, • Complete a background and driving record check, • Able to lift 50 pounds independently, • Able to safely work at heights and work overheard for extended periods of time, • Professional appearance and maintenance of company-provided vehicle As an experienced Handyman, you have strong proficiency in at least three (3) of the following: • Carpentry work, • Bathroom improvements, • Kitchen improvements, • Painting, both inside and out, • Drywall work, minor and major repairs, • General plumbing and electrical, where allowed by law, • Floor installation and refurbishing, • Familiar with building codes Still with us? Key Responsibilities • Framing & Rough Carpentry — Layout, measure, cut, and assemble wood and metal framing systems., • Formwork Construction — Build and install forms for concrete pours., • Finish Carpentry — Install doors, hardware, trim, blocking, and other finish components., • Blueprint Interpretation — Read and follow construction drawings, measurements, and specifications., • Tool Operation — Safely operate saws, drills, nail guns, and other carpentry tools., • Site Coordination — Work with supervisors and trades to maintain workflow and safety.
