We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Real Estate Paralegal to join our team. The ideal candidate is highly organized, able to manage multiple transactions simultaneously, and committed to providing exceptional client service. Responsibilities · Manage residential and commercial real estate transactions from contract through closing. · Prepare, review, and coordinate closing documents. · Communicate with clients, lenders, title companies, real estate agents, municipal offices, and opposing counsel. · Order and review title commitments, surveys, municipal searches, tax information, and payoff statements. · Coordinate inspections, certificates of occupancy, smoke detector certifications, and other closing requirements. · Prepare closing statements, settlement documents, deeds, affidavits, and transfer documents. · Schedule and coordinate closings while ensuring all deadlines are met. · Maintain electronic and physical case files. · Track contingency dates, contractual deadlines, and post-closing matters. · Provide administrative and paralegal support to the attorney as needed. Qualifications · Minimum of 3 years of experience as a real estate paralegal in a law firm. · Strong knowledge of New Jersey residential and commercial real estate transactions preferred. · Familiarity with title review, municipal requirements, and closing procedures. · Excellent written and verbal communication skills. · Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. · Ability to prioritize workload and work independently in a fast-paced environment. · Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and document management systems. Preferred Skills · Strong client service orientation. · Professional demeanor and excellent interpersonal skills. · Ability to manage multiple files with minimal supervision. · Problem-solving mindset and ability to anticipate issues before closing.
