Key Responsibilities: • Minimum four years of experience handling medical malpractice defense litigation., • Experienced trial lawyer with regular appearances in court conferences, arbitrations, mediations, and depositions., • Skilled in all aspects of litigation strategy from drafting pleadings, responding to written discovery motions and discovery demands, preparing motions, to negotiating settlements and preparing witnesses for trial., • Trusted advisor to insurers and corporate clients, serving as primary contact for claims professionals, providing case assessments, litigation plans, and status reports., • Must be able to work independently on an assigned caseload., • Exceptional attention to detail, strong writing and legal research skills, and a strong work ethic., • Entrepreneurial growth mindset for client development and practice management., • Values collaboration and diverse perspectives and can work with a team to creatively solve problems. Qualifications * 2–5 years of experience as a paralegal or legal assistant, preferably in estate planning, probate, or trust law. * Strong knowledge of estate and trust document preparation and deed drafting/recording. * Experience using WealthCounsel or similar estate planning software strongly preferred. * Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal document management systems. * Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management. * Ability to communicate effectively with clients, attorneys, and internal team members. * Paralegal certification or relevant legal training preferred. * Notary Public commission is a plus. * Experience working in a financial planning or wealth management environment is beneficial.
