Paralegal Legal Services $55,000-$60,000 per year Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm Toledo, Ohio (onsite) Permanent Opportunity Why You’ll Love This Job: • After being hired on, the following benefits are offered:, • 401(k) and Matching, • Dental Insurance, • Health Insurance, • Vision Insurance, • Health Savings Account, • Paid Time off, • Free Parking What You’ll Do: • Conduct initial case assessments to support attorney review and case strategy, • Draft, prepare, and file pleadings, motions, and appellate documents with the court, • Manage key administrative and case coordination tasks, including maintaining calendars, scheduling hearings and deadlines, organizing case files, and supporting overall case logistics, • Maintain and organize pleadings, discovery materials, and related case documentation, • Compile, organize, and manage exhibits, documents, evidence, briefs, and appendices for attorney use, • Assist attorneys with discovery processes, including interrogatories and other formal requests, • Review and summarize medical records and other discovery materials to support case preparation, • Collect and synthesize relevant information from multiple sources as needed, • Perform electronic filing (e-filing) in accordance with court requirements and procedures., • Utilize tools such as Microsoft Excel, Adobe Acrobat, and Dropbox to support case management and document organization What We’re Looking For: • Demonstrated experience working as a paralegal in a legal setting, • Working knowledge of motions, discovery, evidentiary materials, litigation documentation, and applicable court rules, procedures, and practices, • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet concurrent deadlines, • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a high level of attention to detail, • Ability to review, analyze, synthesize, and summarize medical records and other case-related documentation, • Comfortable interacting directly with clients in a professional and supportive manner, • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies or a related field, • Litigation experience preferred (minimum of 2+ years) but not required, • Paralegal certificate required Apply Today!
