Qualifications & Requirements, • High school diploma or GED equivalent., • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in precision machining, including operating CNC mills and lathes., • Proficiency in interpreting and working from engineering blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD/CAM models., • Demonstrated ability to perform precision machining with tight tolerances., • Strong understanding and practical application of G-code and M-code for CNC programming., • Expertise in using precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and bore gauges., • Solid knowledge of various metals and composite materials and their machining properties., • Ability to perform tool setup and routine maintenance with accuracy., • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work., • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Preferred Qualifications, • NIMS CNC Milling Certification or NIMS CNC Turning Certification., • Experience with advanced CAD/CAM software for multi-axis machining., • ASQ Certified Quality Technician certification., • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies., • Previous experience in the aerospace or defense manufacturing sectors., • OSHA Safety Certification.
