Week 1: • Work Monday & Tuesday, • Off Wednesday & Thursday, • Work Friday, Saturday & Sunday Week 2: • Off Monday & Tuesday, • Work Wednesday & Thursday, • Off Friday, Saturday & Sunday This schedule repeats every two weeks, allowing employees to work a full-time schedule while enjoying several consecutive days off throughout the month. • Consistent full-time hours, • Every other weekend is a 3-day weekend, • Additional overtime available based on business needsPosition Summary The MIG Welder is responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling large-scale metal components in accordance with engineering drawings and quality standards. This role requires strong welding skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities • Perform MIG welding on mild steel and occasional stainless-steel components, • Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and technical drawings, • Measure, fit, tack, weld, grind, and finish fabricated parts, • Inspect completed welds to ensure quality and compliance with specifications, • Operate welding equipment and fabrication tools safely and efficiently, • Utilize overhead cranes and material-handling equipment when necessary, • Maintain welding consumables and equipment inventory, • Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards, • Maintain a clean and organized work area, • Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlinesRequired Qualifications, • Previous MIG welding experience in a manufacturing, fabrication, or production environment, • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings, • Experience with metal fabrication, fitting, and assembly processes, • Ability to use tape measures, calipers, and other measuring tools, • Comfortable working with large fabricated parts and assemblies, • Basic computer skills, • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety, • Ability to work independently and as part of a teamPreferred Qualifications, • Experience with SAW (Submerged Arc Welding), TIG welding, or Oxy-Acetylene cutting, • Welding certification or vocational training, • Experience operating overhead cranes or industrial lifting equipment, • Experience in fabrication, autobody, manufacturing, heavy equipment, mechanical assembly, or other skilled trades, • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles, • Familiarity with robotic or automated welding systemsBenefits Eligible employees may receive: • Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance, • 401(k) Retirement Plan with Company Match, • Life Insurance, • Short-Term and Long-Term Disability Coverage, • Paid Time Off and Holiday Pay, • Employee Assistance Program, • Career Development and Advancement Opportunities, • Performance-Based Bonus OpportunitiesApply Today Join a growing team that values skilled trades professionals and invests in employee success. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pueblo, CO. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
