Job Description Job Title: Day Laborer Job Description This role involves accurately labeling packages for major parcel carriers in a fast-paced warehouse environment. You support daily shipping operations by preparing packages for distribution while following established procedures and safety guidelines. The work is repetitive and process-driven, ideal for someone who enjoys consistent tasks and working with their hands. Responsibilities • Label packages accurately and consistently according to shipping and warehouse guidelines., • Prepare packages for shipment for carriers such as major parcel and logistics companies., • Follow standardized processes for packaging, labeling, picking, packing, and general production tasks., • Assist with general warehouse duties, including inventory support and basic material handling., • Use manual pallet jacks and pallet jacks to move pallets and materials safely within the warehouse., • Support loading activities by staging and organizing labeled packages for shipment., • Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety and housekeeping procedures., • Work cooperatively with warehouse team members to meet daily production and shipping goals., • Perform repetitive tasks with accuracy and attention to detail throughout the shift. Essential Skills • 6+ months of experience in packaging, labeling, inventory, picking, packing, general production, or warehouse work., • Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy and consistency., • Capability to work on your feet for extended periods in a warehouse setting., • Strong attention to detail when labeling and handling packages., • Reliability and punctuality to work a set Monday–Friday schedule. Work Environment This position is based in a warehouse environment operating Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. You work on-site around packaging, labeling, and general production activities, often standing, walking, and moving materials throughout the shift. The role involves using pallet jacks and manual pallet jacks, handling packages, and working near loading areas. The dress code includes closed-toed shoes, jeans, and a work shirt, suitable for a hands-on, industrial setting. The work is repetitive and process-focused, with an emphasis on safety, organization, and timely shipment preparation. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Omaha, NE. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.34 - $19.34/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
