Director of Growth Position Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and strategic leader to serve as our Director of Growth. This role sits at the center of advisor success, client engagement, and advisor profitability. This position will oversee advisor career development, client service execution, advisor marketing strategy, technology utilization, and advisor-driven business development initiatives. This individual will serve as the operational and cultural steward of our advisor team, ensuring advisors have the systems, training, accountability, and support necessary to progress through our career track from Associate → Service Advisor → Lead Advisor → Partner. This role reports directly to our Chief Operating Officer and works directly with other firm leadership. This role is the key driver of growth, advisor retention, client experience, pipeline development, and marketing effectiveness. Core Responsibilities Advisor Career Development & Performance Leadership • Manage and mentor a team of financial advisors, • Guide advisors through defined career progression milestones, • Optimize and track KPI dashboards for advisor growth and performance, • Conduct development reviews, • Implement structured training programs and professional development pathways, • Reinforce firm culture, standards, and client service philosophy, • Assist in recruiting, onboarding, and retention of advisors Client Experience & Annual Strategy Meeting Oversight • Ensure every client household is offered and/or participates in an annual strategy meeting, • Monitor client engagement metrics and service standards, • Build accountability systems to maintain high client retention and satisfaction, • Partner with advisors to improve meeting preparation, delivery, and follow-through, • Continuously improve client experience workflows across service tiers Sales Training & Revenue Growth Leadership • Evaluate and improve advisor sales coaching and pipeline strategies, • Monitor and improve advisor conversion ratios and revenue growth, • Identify business development opportunities across the client base, • Collaborate with leadership on growth initiatives, • Support cross-selling opportunities including planning, asset management, insurance, and family office services CRM & Operational Accountability • Maintain advisor pipeline accountability and related CRM systems, • Ensure accurate documentation of client activity, workflows, and opportunities, • Create reporting dashboards for leadership visibility, • Optimize CRM workflows to improve efficiency and advisor productivity, • Drive firm-wide adoption of technology platforms and workflow automation Marketing Strategy & Execution • Significantly influence and collaborate with others to enhance marketing effectiveness including: • Website strategy, content, AEO/SEO scoring, and lead optimization, • Podcast deployment, production coordination, and promotion, • Blog and long-form thought leadership content, • Social media strategy, • Email marketing and client communication campaigns, • Webinar and virtual event design, • Video marketing and educational content development, • Digital and other lead generation campaigns • Maintain consistent brand messaging across all channels, • Partner with advisors to develop/improve individual marketing plans aligned with firm strategy, • Measure marketing ROI, lead flow, and conversion effectiveness, • Evaluate and implement automation tools to scale marketing and client communication, • Improve lead tracking, campaign attribution, and marketing funnel reporting, • Stay current on emerging advisor marketing technologies and digital engagement tools Advisor Marketing, Coaching & Client Engagement Programs • Coach advisors on building authentic professional brands, • Assist advisors in content creation, public speaking, and client-facing marketing initiatives, • Ensure advisors leverage firm marketing systems effectively, • Support development of referral marketing programs and centers-of-influence strategies, • Plan and execute advisor-driven marketing initiatives, • Coordinate client appreciation events, seminars, and educational workshops, • Enhance event marketing strategies designed to drive client engagement and new business development, • Standardize event planning processes and ROI tracking Talent Development Program • Manage recruiting, training, mentorship, and performance tracking, • Design and oversee the firm’s advisor internship and early-career talent pipeline, • Build relationships with universities and industry organizations Strategic & Leadership Responsibilities • Act as a key liaison between advisors, marketing, and executive leadership, • Assist leadership in scaling systems and infrastructure to support firm growth, • Identify process inefficiencies and implement scalable solutions, • Help maintain a high-performance, collaborative, and positive advisor culture, • Support strategic initiatives including advisor recruiting, service model expansion, M&A integration, and brand growth Key Success Metrics • Advisor progression through career tracks, • Annual client strategy meeting completion rates, • Advisor revenue growth and client acquisition, • Marketing lead generation and conversion rate improvement, • Development of marketing and digital engagement metrics, • CRM accuracy and pipeline management adoption, • Advisor retention and employee engagement, • Internship program development, • Client satisfaction and retention metrics Qualifications Required • 5+ years of experience in financial services, marketing acumen, advisor effectiveness, and/or growth initiatives, • Strong leadership, coaching, and performance management skills, • Demonstrated experience with developing and executing marketing strategy, • Excellent communication, project management, and organizational abilities, • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously Preferred • Experience managing or mentoring financial advisors, • CFP®, MBA, or relevant professional designation, • Familiarity with wealth management service models and advisor career tracks, • Experience producing educational and/or thought leadership content Ideal Candidate Traits •
