A Southern Foodservice Management employee • Exhibits a positive, friendly and respectful attitude towards guests and other team members, • Arrives to work on time and in correct uniform, clean shoes, clean and pressed black pants and shirt, apron, name tag, and a SMILE, • Understands job duties and responsibilities, as well as having an eagerness to learn more and develop new skills, • Performs administrative and clerical tasks in connection with the requisition, receipt, storage, issue of equipment, • Coordinates preventive maintenance, repairs, and replacement of food service equipment in conjunction with DPW, maintenance contractors, or supply personnel, • Conduct regular inspections to verify operational status, cleanliness, and safety compliance of kitchen equipment., • Develop and maintain detailed equipment inventories and life-cycle tracking records in accordance with Army standards., • Support procurement efforts for new equipment, ensuring items meet mission requirements and standardization goals., • Performs weekly and monthly inventories and ensures accountability is kept, • Maintains Army Food Management Information System (AFMIS) equipment records and is the Property Custodian, • Maintain Government Furnished Property (GFP) Plan, • Receive and inventory new equipment, • Maintain GFP Inventory Records and assist Government with Hand Receipt, • Conduct annual physical inventory of GFP with Government personnel, • Requires a good working knowledge of the Army Food Management Information System (AFMIS), programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods, manuals, or other established guidelines, • An understanding of the needs of the Army and execute the required tasks, • Take or recommend action based upon application or interpretation of established guidelines, • Must be able to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC) Requirements: Physical Requirements: • Strength: Lift up to 50lbs, • Posture: Standing 70%, walking 30%, • Movement of objects: Frequently, • Heavy lifting, Heavy Carrying, Pushing, Pulling, • Climbing or Balancing: Occasional, • Stooping: Occasional, • Reaching: Frequent, • Handling: Frequent, • Talking/Hearing: Frequent, • Seeing: Frequent, • Temperature Variation: Frequent, • Typing: Frequent
