Job Description Program Manager - Art Studio Day Program: Center for Creative Works (CCW) , a Progressive Art Studio program with locations in Philadelphia and Wynnewood PA, seeks a full time management level Program Manager to work in our studio arts program with a talented and dedicated artists with intellectual disabilities and a staff of teaching artists. This is a unique opportunity to make a difference working with a highly creative team building identities and vocations in the arts for our participants. CCW is a nationally recognized professional arts program developing and promoting aspiring and established neurodiverse artists. CCW's program managers oversee the studio and staff. Our program engages people in their pursuit of professionally expanding their artistic skills, building relationships with peers, community engagement, and contributing as artists in their communities and beyond. Position Summary The Program Manager is directly responsible for ensuring the creation of a safe and healthy environment that fosters communication, a sense of well-being, empowerment and support to the consumers supported by the program. The Program Manager is responsible for overall management of the site and all staff working in the site. The Program Manager will provide direct supervision of all Art Instructors, Product Coordinators and Studio Coordinator. The Program Manager will act as a role model for employees regarding the expectations of how the job duties should be performed, the attitude to maintain while at work and appropriate interactions with consumers and other professionals. A commitment to the RHD values should be demonstrated as job duties are performed. Essential Duties and Functions • Administrative:, • Quarterly schedule creation, • Weekly and daily schedule adjustments, • Manage staff vacation, • QC daily attendance, • Monitor that service notes are completed, • Staff payroll, • Attend management meetings, • Other duties as needed, • Staffing, • Projecting program staffing needs with projected enrollment (with Director), • Interviewing potential teaching staff, • Training of new teaching staff, • Act as coverage for staff absences as needed, • Biannual staff check-ins with documentation, • Progressive Discipline when needed, • First line for staff needs, • Being the first line “go-to” for all staff and artist issues. Try to resolve these issues on the floor together with the ratio teacher or outreach to Program Specialist when issues must be elevated., • ensuring all services are provided with attention to health and safety, individual ISP requirements, ratios and studio community values/culture, • Meet our CPS community compliancy by making sure that trips are going out into the community daily, • Ensure that staff and artists are engaged on the floor throughout the day, • Supervision for the quality of service including that instructors are working in various mediums, with appropriate materials and in accordance with the wishes of the artists ., • Create new systems for the floor as needed to manage floor needs, • Covering for staff breaks during rotations, • Oversee the staffing of special events/workshops/residencies, etc., • Facilitate daily briefings at end of day, • Med administration as needed, • Ensuring that incidents are documented and attended to, • Site management, • Continuous monitoring for health and safety within 2390 regulations, • Site assistance leading to licensing, • Working with Director to identify repairs/maintenance., • Conduct and document monthly fire drills / fire extinguisher checks, • Work with team to keep the studios organized and clean., • Work with team to keep warehouse storage area organized and uncluttered. Qualifications • 4 year degree in human service or art related field, • Minimum 1 year experience working with adults with IDD/Behavioral Mental Health Diagnosis/Drug and Alcohol Recovery Programs., • Demonstrates a strong working knowledge of the appropriate regulations, RHD values and program policies and procedures., • computer and internet literacy with the ability to utilize applications like emails, time recording and other programs to enter and retrieve data as necessary to perform the essential functions of the job., • Valid Driver’s License, • Subject to employment screenings, including FBI clearance, if applicable.
