Position Overview The primary role of the IT Assistant is to assist with overseeing and maintaining all aspects of Community Corps’ technology infrastructure. This includes maintaining networks, servers and security programs and systems. The IT Assistant will assist with the upgrade and installation of new hardware and software, perform troubleshooting to address any problems with computer systems, and assess viruses and potential threats to a company’s network. Compensation and Benefits The compensation ranges between $25.55 - $34.06 per hour. The IT Assistant is eligible for the following benefits: • Medical insurance, • Dental and vision insurance, • 403b retirement plan, • 4 weeks of paid vacation, • 120 hours of sick time, • Paid holidays, • Paid sick leave, • Mileage reimbursement, • 9/80 work schedule, • Every other Friday off!, • Learn to identify, research, and resolve technical problems or requests, • Assisting with Active Directory (AD) administration and troubleshooting, • Respond to Helpdesk Tickets, telephone calls, email and walk-ups for technical support and escalate to IT Administrator as needed., • Document, track, and monitor issues using existing ticketing system to ensure a timely resolution of the incident or request, • Support, monitor, test, and troubleshoot hardware and software problems, • Install and configure company workstations and devices using standardized process, • Provide end users support for all standard applications, • Helping manage data backup, verification, and retrieval processes., • Strong desire and motivation to develop a career in IT, • Good verbal and written skills, • Good organizational and problem-solving skills, • Self-motivated and hard worker, • Ability to work independently when needed, • Accuracy and attention to detail is required in performing all functions of this position, • Ability to learn, be mentored, and improve, • Solid knowledge of Windows 10 and Windows Server 2016, • Experience with Active Directory management is a plus, • 2-year (minimum) or 4-year (preferred) Degree in information technology, computer science, information security or related field., • Occasional car travel, primarily in Santa Monica to visit properties in the Community Corp. portfolio., • The essential responsibilities of this position are performed in a busy office environment.
