Job Description Vice President of Accounting and Finance Location: Orlando FL Reports to: Chief Operating Officer Company: EnviroTrac LLC (dba EnviroTrac, Bio-Tech Consulting, Earth Systems, Earth Systems Response and Restoration, Envirotactics, Spangler Engineering) About EnviroTrac EnviroTrac is a national environmental and engineering services platform backed by private equity sponsor Palm Beach Capital. The company provides environmental consulting, remediation, engineering, and compliance services across multiple markets in the United States. Growth is driven by organic expansion and strategic acquisitions. The company is building standardized financial operations across a multi-entity roll-up structure. Position Summary The Vice President of Accounting and Finance is a senior financial executive responsible for accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, performance management, risk mitigation, cash management, and M and A financial integration. This role reports directly to the COO CFO and has executive accountability for financial performance across all business units and acquired entities. The role requires experience in private equity backed environments, multi-entity consolidations, and AEC or environmental services industries. The Vice President of Accounting & Finance will play a central role in cultivating a strong financial culture across all divisions and operating entities within EnviroTrac. This includes establishing a shared understanding of budgeting, project financials, proper billing practices, and the financial drivers that impact performance. The VP will work closely with managers, project leaders, and operational teams to build financial confidence, accountability, and consistency throughout the organization. Compensation and Benefits • Base salary 180000 to 205000 depending on experience., • Annual incentive bonus is 10 to 20 percent., • Long term incentive participation in the Management Incentive Plan. Financial Reporting and Accounting Operations • Lead accounting functions including general ledger, consolidations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, fixed assets., • Manage month end, quarter end, and year end close processes., • Prepare consolidated financial statements in compliance with GAAP, ASC 606, and ASC 842., • Maintain accuracy and integrity of financial data., • Establish internal controls across all entities and ensure audit readiness., • Lead annual audits and quarterly reviews with external auditors., • Monitor debt covenant compliance and support lender reporting., • Oversee legal entity administration, formation, dissolution, and compliance filings., • Coordinate with the legal department on entity records and corporate governance., • Deliver financial reporting, operating metrics, KPIs, and trend analysis., • Build dashboards and variance analysis for leadership teams., • Provide recommendations to improve profitability, margins, and operational efficiency., • Lead annual budgeting process and align corporate and divisional goals., • Implement FP and A software for dashboards, KPI tracking, and management reporting., • Create standardized reporting packages for leadership and operations., • Oversee cash management, AR, AP, treasury, capital expenditures, and liquidity., • Serve as administrator for corporate banking access and security., • Improve working capital, DSO, and cash conversion., • Oversee insurance, surety, regulatory compliance, and enterprise risk management., • Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax requirements, statutory filings, and audit standards., • Manage reporting to Palm Beach Capital including monthly and quarterly financial packages., • Provide KPI dashboards, covenant compliance data, and investor level reporting., • Lead financial due diligence including QoE review, working capital analysis, and valuation modeling., • Manage post close integration including accounting system alignment, workflows, and controls., • Build and develop a high performing accounting and finance team., • Set expectations, performance goals, and provide coaching and development., • Ensure staffing, cross training, and succession planning., • Build a financial culture that emphasizes transparency, accuracy, accountability, and proactive decision making., • Train managers in budgeting, forecasting, job costing, billing accuracy, cash flow management, margin awareness, and financial literacy., • Create financial education programs for operational leaders., • Strengthen project level financial ownership and forecasting discipline., • Implement consistent processes for budgets, variance reviews, and performance accountability., • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA required. MBA preferred., • 15 or more years of progressive accounting and finance leadership experience., • Experience in private equity backed companies and multi entity consolidations., • Experience in AEC, engineering, construction, environmental consulting, or related industries preferred., • Strong GAAP, internal controls, and financial systems knowledge., • Experience implementing FP and A tools and financial automation., • Strong leadership, communication, and cross functional collaboration skills., • Ability to travel approximately 5 days per month.
