American Traveler is seeking a travel Clinic Mammography Technologist for a travel job in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina. Job Description & Requirements • Specialty: Mammography Technologist, • Discipline: Allied Health Professional, • Start Date: 04/27/2026, • Duration: 13 weeks, • 40 hours per week, • Shift: 8 hours, days, • Employment Type: Travel Assignment Overview • Shift: Days, 5x8hrs, • Hours: 40 hrs/wk, • Start Date: Apr 27, 2026, • Length: 13 weeks, • Outpatient clinic setting in a fast-paced environment requiring autonomy, strong positioning skills, and effective communication, • Mammography unit performing both screening and diagnostic mammograms, • Daily caseload of approximately 70 patients, with a minimum of 20 screening mammograms per day, • Siemens Revelations and Hologic Dimension mammography equipment used (proficiency required), • Charting performed in Epic, • 5x8-hour day shifts, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, • No weekend or on-call requirements, • Floating between sister facilities (East Cooper and West Ashley locations) required as neededRequirements, • Minimum of 5 years of mammography experience required, • Current BLS (AHA only), ARRT (M), and SCRQSA certifications required, • Active SC state license required prior to start — license required if applicable, • Must be proficient with Siemens Revelations and Hologic Dimension equipment — this is a hard requirement, • Experience performing both screening and diagnostic mammograms required, • SSN and Driver's License required for consideration, • 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for considerationAdditional Information, • First-time travelers are accepted for this position, • Previous permanent or PRN staff at any MUSC location must have been separated from the MUSC system for at least 1 year before being eligible to work as a traveler, • Candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility are considered local; non-local candidates are prioritized, • Local candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis, • All requested time off must be submitted at the time of consideration; approval is based on facility need, • Orientation takes place on-site, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, • Compliance modules are completed prior to the assignment start date, • Scrub colors are any shade of pink or dark teal top with black bottoms, • Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season (June through November), all staff may be assigned to emergency response teams; peak activity months are August and September With thousands of travel nursing and allied jobs nationwide, our attentive and approachable recruiters find positions that align perfectly with your career aspirations and personal requirements.
