What You’ll Do This position reports to the Deputy VP of Programs and Politics and serves as a key architect of our legislative strategy. As the organization’s lead presence at the State Capitol, the Legislative Director builds and leverages relationships with decision-makers to advance our campaigns, shape policy outcomes, and grow our collective power. Legislative & Regulatory Strategy: Serve as the organization’s lead lobbyist and primary representative at the State Capitol, building trusted relationships with legislators, executive branch staff, and key allies to advance Conservation Colorado’s policy priorities. • Manage the work of contract lobbyists and ensure alignment with organizational strategy., • Map the political landscape—power players, committee dynamics, leadership priorities, and legislative timelines—to inform and secure legislative wins., • Translate policy goals into winnable strategies in close coordination with the advocacy team., • Lead legislative tracking and management, including bill monitoring, testimony coordination, and legislative asks., • Maintain a deep and evolving understanding of policy issues, especially those related to racial justice, environmental equity, and community impact., • Lead moves management across the Programs Department and CEO for high-priority legislative audiences., • Track allies, opponents, and fence-sitters—and tailor outreach strategies accordingly., • Develop and implement coordinated electoral strategies to help elect pro-conservation candidates and drive policy success, including helping in candidate recruitment, education & endorsement processes., • Provide strategic input on campaign plans and ensure legislative alignment., • Lead our ballot measure work by monitoring developments and recommending organizational engagement. Policy Leadership: We are not usually the policy experts in the room, and you don’t have to be an expert on our issues; that can be learned. But you do need the ability to digest dense policy language into clear, compelling messages that are tailored to different audiences and communities and can connect our policy positions to broader narratives, lived experiences, and systemic change. Compensation and Benefits The salary range for this full-time role is $105,000 - $120,000, with exact salary depending on relevant experience and demonstrated competencies. Organizational and Systematic Responsibilities: • Maintain an active case load of students who receive school based Mental Health support as part of their special education plan., • Provide school-based, multi-tiered therapeutic services, as well as social, emotional, and behavioral intervention services to individuals, groups, and parents/guardians, including ongoing direct services to students with developmental and emotional disabilities., • Gather background information on the student’s psychological history by conducting behavioral observations, conducting interviews, and reviewing school records., • Interpret assessment results and compile comprehensive psychological assessment reports that address the reason for referral and include appropriate recommendations., • Address individual client needs through the development of systematic treatment plans, including target sheets and skill acquisition programs, as well as active progress monitoring for a designated case load., • Positively impact achievement and differentiate instruction based on the needs of the students by supporting programs designed to increase student achievement., • Communicate case findings and recommendations staff and other Firefly Autism personnel as needed., • Participates in eligibility committee meetings and contributes to the development of the Individualized Education Plan (IEP)., • Conduct specialized individual and group counseling sessions to address specific emotional, social, and behavioral needs of students., • Serve as a liaison between the student, home, and Firefly Autism regarding mental health services for assigned students., • Provide follow-up support and periodic re-evaluation services as necessary., • Act as a member of the school crisis team to provide intervention to students as necessary., • Compile monthly reports and maintain accurate case records., • Attend all staff trainings., • Attend all school and program meetings., • Actively participate in initial and follow-up training in applied behavior analysis methodology and crisis management, • Willingness to participate in research efforts., • Engage in activities to further knowledge of autism and applied behavior analysis., • Maintain CPR and First Aid certification current., • Other professional development and training as assigned. Job Description TITLE: Crew Lead JOB SUMMARY: Crew Lead provides leadership and oversight to small groups (1-3 workers) and actively participates in performing work to complete the scope of work. A crew lead represents Wolf Construction in the field to customers, subcontractors, vendors, employees, and other trades.
