Job DescriptionSalary: $3,000 to $7,000 per month Scout Pest Control is a local, fast growing pest control company serving the Huntsville/ Madison/ Athens/ Decatur/ Florence/ Cullman areas and we are seeking a passionate, cheerful, and dedicated Pest Control Technician to take part in our success. We provide our customers with an excellent, reliable, and effective pest control experience. We need a Pest Control Technician who is a great communicator, excellent at managing relationships, attentive to detail, hard working, and friendly. Sales and time management skills are a must! Pest Control Technicians primary duties are: Servicing homes and businesses safely, efficiently, and thoroughly to control unwanted pests; Driving safely to and from job-sites; Inspecting homes and businesses for pests and pest activity; Documenting product applications and inspection results using our CRM tools; Communicating and building relationships with customers to explain service and set proper expectations; Selling and Upselling services that will better benefit customers. To be successful in this role, you will need to be friendly, organized, efficient, detail oriented, and an effective communicator. You will be interacting with our customers daily and having a friendly, patient, and respectful behavior is a must as you are representing our company. The job requires a good driving history, the ability to pass a background check and drug testing, good customer service skills, and the ability to pay attention to details. We are happy to train, but the ability to be coached and learn are a must! We typically work Monday through Friday, with Saturdays being required once a month and more frequently on occasion. No Sundays. Any potential candidate will be required to lift up to 50 lbs regularly, and be able to handle the physical rigors of servicing homes in both hot and cold weather and traverse uneven ground. Job DescriptionSalary: Sign-On Bonus SUMMARY The Family Support Specialist assists in building strong, supportive relationships with families by identifying needs and coordinating services and resources. This role provides direct support to families throughout the intake evaluation, service navigation process, and through in-home services needed. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. • Make initial contact with new referrals on the Autism Home Visitation wait list, • Conduct home visits with families as required by to provide support, assessments, service coordination, and resource guidance, • Collaborate with Autism Home Visitation team members to support families., • Attend and actively participate in monthly Autism Clinic team meetings, • Develop and maintain database of family recommendations and assist families in accessing community resources, • Create and distribute family resources packets, • Assist families with applying for Alabama Department of Mental Health (DMH) Autism Services, • Provide services to eligible families through DMH-Autism Services Program, including services delivered in the home and community settings, • Assist with Autism Clinic as needed., • Maintain punctuality and regular attendance according to scheduled work hours LANGUAGE SKILLS: Good oral and written communication skills and the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with families, public agencies and service providers. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: There are no supervisory responsibilities for this position. QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university in a social services field. Experience working with autism spectrum disorder. Prior experience as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is a plus, but not mandatory. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Valid Alabama driver's license Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate the needs of children and their families.
