Vision Statement:To bring the lost to the Lord Jesus Christ and to establish believers in the Christian Faith. Reports To:TheCustomer ServiceSupervisorwill report totheCustomer ServiceManager. Job Overview:This role is vital in the runningofthe Uplift Thrift.TheCustomer ServiceSupervisoroversees customer service staff onthe registers,overseeingtheentrypoint, andcleaning, organizing,and re-stockingassigned sections of the sales floor.The Customer ServiceSupervisorcompletesalltasks assigned to their staff, as well as overseeingthe safe/register drawerswhen their manager is not on the shift.The Customer ServiceSupervisorwill ensure customer satisfaction, resolving issues that arise and overseeing all incomingcallswhen their manager is not onshift.TheCustomer ServiceSupervisormust also be able to complete tasks independently and accurately while staying calm under pressurewhile also ensuring their staff do the same.The Customer ServiceSupervisormust be able to multitask well andmaintaina clean and orderly work environment. Expected Schedule-Combination of1stand2ndFull Time-Exact schedulevaries Shifts arescheduled between 9:30am to 4:30pm and 12:30pm to 8:30pm. Weekends and Holidays asscheduled(Rotation).8-hourshifts. Responsibilities and Duties: • Overseeing the opening or closing of the store- setting up registers, unlocking doors, and all other assignedtasks, • Count cash drawers before opening/after closing the store-Ensuringaccuratesafe count and deposit amount, • Be Manager on Duty for Customer Service Staff when the Customer Service Manager is notpresent, • Resolve all customer concerns that arise during the shift, • Complete transactions with customers on the cash register- offering punctual, friendly service, • Ensureaccuratetransactions on the cash register- both credit card and cash., • Stay within sight of the registers whileaccomplishingsales floor tasks, • Receiving phone calls and assisting callers as needed, • Maintaingood communicationwith thedepartment,utilizingall available tools, • Maintain a clean and orderly workspace, • Attend all meetings and training sessions as scheduled, • Show the love of Christandbe ready to share the gospel Qualifications: • High School Diploma-Preferred, • 1 Year Retail Experience- Preferred, • Basic Microsoft Suite Experience- e.g. Email, Word Documents-Required Skills • Strong Grasp of Mathematics, able to find and fix errors in the register system, • Dynamic People Skills, able to resolve issues with staff or customers for the best possible outcome, • Ability to learn,independently use, and teachnew software within15 daysof introduction., • Ability toanswer, transfer, and hold calls on a phone system that spans multiplefacilitieswithin15 daysofintroduction., • Ability to respectfully interact withcustomers,City Rescue Missionguests, andvolunteers no matter their background,temperament, preferences, or life choices, • Detail oriented, organized, thorough, andpossessingthe ability to multitask well, • Ability to constantly assess the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of all work assignments, • Ability to de-escalate situations while staying calm under pressure. Environment TheCustomer ServiceSupervisorwill need to be able toworkconstantlyin a noisy anddistraction-filledenvironment.TheCustomer ServiceSupervisorstask will occasionally require them to work in low temperatures,high temperatures, outdoor elements (e.g.rain, wind, snow),and small/enclosed spaces. Physical Requirements- Thebelow listed abilitiesare required to be able to complete the essential duties of the role: TheCustomerServiceSupervisorwillneed tobe able toconstantlylift25lbs in all directionsand will occasionally need toliftupto50lbs in all directions.They will need to be able to complete1-2hoursof physically taxing work without a break and stand or walkfor3hourswithout sitting down.They will occasionally need to complete3hours of physically taxing work withoutabreakand be able tomove with hastefor 500ft. TheCustomerServiceSupervisorwill need to be able to constantly complete visual scans of indoor/outdoor areas in varying levels of light.They will need toconstantlycomplete tasks with repetitive motions that include thewrists,handsand/or fingers. They will need to be able to constantly communicate clearly with others to exchange information.
