The Woven Care Student Program presents a unique opportunity for students to apply theoretical knowledge and augment their skills through immersive experiences in a clinical environment. Collaborating with seasoned professionals including Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, and Speech-Language Pathologists, participants actively contribute to the care and treatment of pediatric patients.Within this professional setting, students will master a diverse range of tools, techniques, and evidence-based activities aimed at optimizing the developmental potential of each child. The program stands as a cornerstone for cultivating a deep understanding of clinical practices, emphasizing precision and efficacy in therapeutic interventions.Enrich your academic journey with hands-on learning that transcends traditional boundaries. Join us in elevating the standard of care and fostering professional growth as we collectively strive for excellence in pediatric rehabilitation.What Sets Woven Placements Apart??You will have opportunities to: • Work in a multi-disciplinary team of Speech, Occupational, Physical, and ABA therapists!, • Enjoy a progressive onboarding schedule - your learning is always the priority!, • Get exposure to various patients, ages, and diagnoses!, • Week-by-week guidebook for achieving clinical hours and requirements., • Unique clinic spaces for holistic treatment - you have to see them to believe it!, • Patient coordinators for scheduling support!, • Dedicated one-to-one clinical instructor., • Go from observation to 100% of CI's caseload across your 8-16-week placement (level dependent)., • Comfortability with specialty areas mentioned before (feeding, aquatics, AAC, ASD, etc.)., • You will leave with excellent collaboration skills., • Comfortability working with patient families.
