Job DescriptionMemory Care Nurse – Anchorage, AK Employer: TDL Staffing Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM Pay: $35–$40/HR DOE, with many overtime opportunitiesBenefits package offeredTDL Staffing is seeking a Memory Care Nurse to join the care team of a respected assisted living facility in Anchorage.This position focuses on case management and clinical oversight rather than direct hands-on patient care. It is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the day-to-day functions of the Memory Care unit, ensuring the highest level of quality care for residents while providing clinical guidance, supervising staff, and maintaining regulatory compliance. Key responsibilities include coordinating resident admissions, overseeing care plans, monitoring treatments and medications, and supporting nursing staff in delivering safe and effective care. Experience in dementia care, along with at least one year in a supervisory or management role within a long-term care or healthcare setting, is highly preferred. Previous experience in a long-term care community or healthcare-related facility is also beneficial. Key Responsibilities: • Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct day-to-day functions of the Memory Care unit, • Maintain and update nursing policies, procedures, reference materials, and care manuals, • Coordinate with other resident services and implement corrective actions as needed, • Supervise care staff, monitor performance, and ensure duties are carried out in accordance with standards, • Schedule and manage daily rounds, treatments, and medication administration for residents, • Oversee resident admissions, room readiness, and orientation, • Review caregiver notes and documentation for accuracy and completeness, • Participate in surveys, inspections, and reporting to Director of Nursing Services and Administrator, • Assist in staff training, development, and continuing education initiatives, • Maintain resident rights, safety standards, and cleanliness of work and care areas, • Recommend and monitor equipment and supply needs, ensuring cost-effective inventory controlMinimum Requirements:, • Current Licensed Nurse in good standing with the State (RN, LPN, or Case Manager), • Knowledge of general, rehabilitative, and restorative nursing practices, • Understanding of long-term care laws, regulations, and guidelines, • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English clearly, • Proficient math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide), • At least 1 year of management or supervisory experience, • Proficiency with computer systems, documentation, and reporting #MED123
