As a Cath Lab RN / travel nurse specializing in interventional cardiology, you'll advance your cardiac nursing skills working on procedures like PCI, TAVR, thrombectomy and Impella support. Charlotte offers vibrant urban living, diverse dining, arts and easy access to parks — an excellent location for North Carolina nursing jobs and travel nursing assignments. • Position: Cath Lab Registered Nurse (Travel) / Cardiac Cath Lab RN, • Location: Charlotte, NC 28204 — Charlotte healthcare jobs / North Carolina travel nursing, • Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,320 – $2,450, • Contract Length: 13 weeks (April 13, 2026 – July 13, 2026), • Shift: 4x10-hour days (Mon–Fri, 07:00–17:30), • Hours per Week: 40, • Call Requirement: One day/week plus one weekend every 4 weeks (with callback; may fluctuate), • Float Requirement: Rare; may float to EP or Cath Lab holding area as needed, • Scrubs: Provided, • Unit Systems: Epic, MAC Lab, • Experience: Minimum 2 years recent Cath Lab RN experience (first-time travel nurses welcome), • Licensure: Active North Carolina RN license or Compact RN license (pending acceptable for submission; must be active by start date), • Certifications: ACLS, BLS, plus at least one: RCIS or ARRT, • Core Skills: Scrub and monitor cases, PA lines/Swan-Ganz, telemetry, rhythm interpretation, • Structural Heart / TAVR: Experience with structural heart procedures and TAVR preferred, • Required Procedure Experience: Balloon angioplasty, PCI, stents, thrombectomy, Impella insertion, left & right heart catheterization, Rotablader, • Preferred Skills: Circulate, IV start, conscious sedation, advanced rhythm interpretation, • Preferred Procedures: Watchman, septal closure, ablations, coil embolization, filter placement, • Health Requirements: Annual flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions allowed), • Provide high-quality patient care during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures as a Cath Lab RN and travel nurse in interventional cardiology., • Scrub and/or monitor cases, including complex PCI and structural heart/TAVR procedures, maintaining sterile technique and procedural readiness., • Insert and monitor PA lines/Swan-Ganz catheters, manage telemetry, and perform accurate rhythm interpretation required for cardiac nursing jobs., • Support core Cath Lab workflows (diagnostic cath, PCI/stents, thrombectomy, Impella, left & right heart cath) and assist with structural heart/TAVR when applicable., • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (cardiologists, EP staff, techs) to ensure efficient room turnover, patient throughput, and communication., • Document patient care accurately in Epic and adhere to unit protocols, quality initiatives, and safety standards.
