Job Description Performs professional duties involved in a variety of technical procedures to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiological diagnosis of patients of all ages. Sign-on bonus of up to $10,000, relocation assistance of up to $4,000, and $3.00 shift differential is available. • Applies knowledge of growth and development to appropriately care for all patients served., • Operates highly specialized, technical equipment to obtain quality images. Performs IV contrast injections and other skills as required., • Performs duties associated with processing patients, which may include scheduling, registration, file management and computer processing skills., • Evaluates and positions patients with a high degree of professional ethics, care, courtesy, patience and safety., • Complies with all Carilion Clinic and Imaging policies, procedures and regulatory guidelines., • Participates in the training of students and staff as assigned., • Maintains ARRT registry. Enhances personal and professional growth through participation in educational opportunities. Minimum Qualifications Education: High school graduate or equivalent. Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology. Experience: CT experience preferred. Licensure/Certification: Must be CT registered within one year of hire.
