Relationships Reports to: Superintendent Role Purpose As a Superintendent, you will oversee daily field operations to ensure project success. This includes supervising all field team members, maintaining a safe work environment, managing planning and scheduling, controlling costs and quality, coordinating subcontractors, and delivering top-tier construction services. Responsibilities • Secure job site office, storage facilities, and utilities (water and electricity)., • Review and become familiar with contract documents, specifications, shop drawings, and submittals., • Manage and submit daily reports: timecards, field reports, schedule updates, RFIs, and email correspondence., • Conduct pre-construction meetings with subcontractors, ensuring adherence to standards and work plans., • Manage the project schedule and communicate changes to all relevant parties., • Ensure all teams comply with safety policies and procedures., • Lead and participate in pre-construction, progress, and project staff meetings., • Monitor project progress, cost reports, schedules, and completion requirements., • Utilize available technology to track progress and keep the team informed., • Perform additional duties as assigned. Requirements • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Building Science, or related field., • 3-5 years of experience, including internships, Field Engineer, or Assistant Superintendent roles with a general contractor., • Ground-up construction experience., • Strong understanding of building processes and systems., • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Procore., • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, adaptable for different audiences., • Must be willing to travel. Physical/Work Requirements • Ability to walk job sites, climb stairs/ladders, and navigate work areas under construction., • Specific vision requirements include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment., • Occasionally lift and move up to 50 lbs., • Must be available to travel more than 50% of the time.
