Job Description Job Summary The HVAC Instructor is responsible for performing tasks that increase the college's productivity and efficiency. Additionally, they will continue to maintain the professionalism and decorum expected of the staff at Northwest Career College. Must have an EPA Section 608 Universal certification and two years of experience as an HVAC technician. Prepare for and provide quality delivery of assigned courses using curricula materials and commonly accepted instructional methods (i.e. presentations/lectures, facilitated group work or lab projects, engagement in discussions and simulations, practical labs, or community-based activity, etc.). Evaluate student performance and assist in the resolution of student problems by issuing advisories, engaging in tutoring/mentoring, offering referrals to services, and generally ensuring appropriate actions are taken to support student progress while remaining in compliance with the policies, procedures, and legal requirements of the Company and/or regulatory agencies.
