Job Description Leapros Skilled Trades is actively hiring Lead Low Voltage Cabling Technicians in Scranton, PA. Job Type: Contract Pay: $25 to $40 Per Hour BOE Responsibilities: • Installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of various cabling infrastructure, • Ability to oversee 2-5 techs on-site, • Run low voltage cabling in commercial buildings, including drilling concrete walls and limited conduit work., • Installing cable support structures such as j-hooks, cable racks, and innerduct., • Repairing cable poles and towers., • Conduct tests to ensure all newly installed cables systems and component devices are operational., • Troubleshoot issues with the cable network. Qualifications: • No less than 3 yrs exp as a Lead Cabling Technician, • Commercial experience (Healthcare, Financial Institutions, Education), • Strong knowledge of industry standards (BICSI, NEC, TIA/EIA)., • Must have knowledge of cabling infrastructure., • Experience in CCTV and voice cabling is a plus., • Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Physical Requirements: • Must be able to sit, stand, talk or hear, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, stretch, twist, and/or reach out for prolonged periods of time, • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds at waist height for short distances, and occasionally up to 75 pounds., • Overhead lifting: Must be able to occasionally lift 50 pounds overhead for short distances, • Must be able to push, pull and move up to 75 pounds at shoulder height, • Dexterity of hands and fingers to use tools, • Must be able to regularly carry and climb ladders up to 20 feet, • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics, • Ability to use a computer and/or hand tools while sitting or standing for extended periods of time, • Must be able to see and distinguish different colors, read small print and hear and recognize audible signals such as dial tones, • Must know the universal communications color codes, • Must be able to work in tight, confided spaces at times, • Must be able to travel within territory as needed, • Must be aware of OSHA safety standards, • Noise levels are typically moderate Pay Transparency The anticipated salary range for this position is $25 to $40 Per Hour, based on relevant factors such as experience, skills, education, internal equity, and geographic location. Final compensation will be determined during the interview process by the hiring authority.
