Essential Functions: What you’ll do: * • Develop detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings, shop drawings, and fabrication documents using Revit and AutoCAD based on design concepts and project specifications., • Create accurate bills of materials (BOMs) and cutting lists for production., • Collaborate closely with the sales, design, engineering, and production teams to ensure designs are optimized for manufacturing efficiency and cost-effectiveness., • Interpret architectural plans, client specifications, and engineering requirements to develop appropriate sign solutions., • Identify and resolve design conflicts or technical challenges proactively., • Ensure all designs comply with relevant building codes, ADA requirements, and industry standards., • Manage and organize design files, ensuring version control and accessibility., • Participate in design reviews and provide technical input and recommendations., • Proven expertise in Revit and AutoCAD is essential. Please highlight your specific experience with these software platforms in your application., • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent work experience., • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Technical Designer or similar role, preferably within the sign manufacturing, architectural, or fabrication industries., • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials (e.g., metals, plastics, LEDs), and construction methods relevant to sign production., • Excellent spatial reasoning and ability to visualize complex 3D structures from 2D drawings., • High attention to detail and accuracy in all work., • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment., • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges., • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Job Description Location: Fort Worth, Texas Job Type: Full-Time Department: Graphics / Design Reports To: Graphics Manager and/or Sales Manager Job Summary: We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented, and eager-to-learn Packaging Graphics Designer to join our team in the corrugated packaging industry. In this role, you’ll support the creation and preparation of high-quality packaging artwork that aligns with customer branding, production requirements, and printing specifications to ensure that packaging meets both aesthetic and technical standards. You will collaborate closely with structural designers, sales teams, prepress technicians, and production staff to bring packaging concepts to life—from concept through to print. This is an excellent opportunity for a new designer to gain hands-on experience in packaging graphics, flexographic printing, and the technical aspects of corrugated design within a fast-paced, supportive environment. In the future, this role will grow to become a hybrid graphics/structure packaging designer position. Your main focus will be graphics, but you will be cross trained over time in structural design and CAD software to assist in optimizing workflow when needed as backup. In this expanded role, you will learn to design custom corrugated packaging solutions that are functional, feasible, cost-effective, and align with client branding and shipping requirements. Key Responsibilities: • Support the development of packaging artwork for corrugated boxes, retail-ready packaging, and displays., • Apply customer branding, logos, and design elements to existing dielines and structural templates., • Assist in preparing and reviewing print-ready files for flexographic and digital printing processes and ensure they meet technical and production specifications., • Collaborate with structural design, sales, and prepress teams to ensure packaging accuracy, feasibility and consistency., • Help maintain and organize artwork files, digital assets, and file versioning accurately in accordance with company standards., • Participate in internal proof reviews and help implement feedback from team members or customers., • Learn and apply industry standards for color, layout, registration, and print limitations in corrugated printing., • Review and approve printer proofs, conduct press checks as needed, and troubleshoot print-related issues. Future Responsibilities: • Support structural design team as backup when needed., • Design custom corrugated packaging solutions using CAD software (ArtiosCAD)., • Revise existing designs and ensure they meet material, production, and customer requirements., • Create prototypes, 3D renderings, and dielines for customer review, sales, and other internal departments., • Provide documentation and specifications to production teams, sales, and customer service for accurate manufacturing., • Learn industry trends, innovative design practices, and assist in maintaining a library of standards. Qualifications: • Associate’s Degree with 2-5 years of industry experience OR, • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Packaging Design, Visual Communications, or a related field., • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator and Photoshop is required., • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn technical aspects of packaging and print production., • Understanding design principles including layout, typography, and color theory., • Excellent time management and organizational skills., • Ability to follow instructions, take feedback, handle multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a production-driven environment., • Interest in packaging design and corrugated manufacturing processes., • Familiarity with dielines, flexographic printing, or prepress workflows is a plus., • Experience with/knowledge of software such as Esko, ArtiosCAD, or CAD tools is a bonus but not required., • Familiarity with sustainability practices in packaging design is a plus.
