Job Description Job Description As a Technician, you will be responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance on various motors, gearboxes, pneumatic systems, conveyors, and production machinery. You will use your skills to read and follow diagrams, sketches, manuals, and engineering specifications, ensuring compliance with NEC wiring standards. Your role involves troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues using precision tools and diagnostic methods, and you will remove, repair, and replace defective parts using hoists, cranes, and hand/power tools. Additionally, you will measure parts with calipers, micrometers, and other tools to determine dimensional changes or wear. Adjusting mechanical components and control instruments for proper functionality will also be a key part of your job. Responsibilities • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on motors, gearboxes, pneumatic systems, conveyors, and production machinery., • Read and follow diagrams, sketches, manuals, and engineering specifications., • Ensure compliance with NEC wiring standards., • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues using precision tools and diagnostic methods., • Remove, repair, and replace defective parts using hoists, cranes, and hand/power tools., • Measure parts with calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools to determine dimensional changes or wear., • Adjust mechanical components and control instruments for proper functionality., • Minimize downtime by communicating and reinforcing preventive maintenance practices with production teams., • Document work, report irregularities, and coordinate follow-up actions., • Proficiency in electrical, troubleshooting, maintenance technician tasks., • Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulics, repair, and preventive maintenance., • Industrial maintenance experience including corrective/breakdown work., • Strong understanding of industrial equipment, safety procedures, and standard tools/techniques., • Self-motivated, safety-oriented, and able to manage time/responsibilities independently., • Construction site experience preferred., • Thorough working knowledge of industrial and mechanical equipment, its usage, and safety procedures., • Ability to learn and apply standard tools and techniques to solve problems., • Demonstrates a positive 'can-do' attitude., • Ability to take responsibility for self-performance and manage time and responsibilities independently., • Willing to lead teams while working alongside direct reports., • Excellent communication skills, electronic/virtual, written, and in person. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
