The Quality Assurance Team Leader is also responsible for working directly with the supervisor to drive process improvement, effectively allocate team resources, coach, and provide support. Your contributions will ensure the success of the Merchandising department at CITY Furniture. Position Title: Quality Assurance Team Leader Reports To: Quality Assurance Supervisor Location: Onsite – Tamarac Corporate Office/Distribution Center Department/Sub-Department: Merchandising/ Quality Assurance Salary: Starting at $19.50 What You’ll Do… As a Quality Assurance Team Leader, your primary responsibilities will be: • Product Auditing – oversee product audits and testing procedures, including stability testing, safety testing, and compliance testing, • Team Leadership – lead and mentor the team by providing support and training to ensure they perform their roles effectively Additional duties and responsibilities as a Quality Assurance Team Leader: • Product Management – maintain the flow of product within the assembly, rewrap workstations, communicate obstacles and propose countermeasures to leadership, • Assembly Instruction Archiving – gathering assembly instructions from team members and saving into archives for internal and external customers to reference, • Supervisor Coverage – perform the main responsibilities and duties of the Quality Assurance Supervisor when needed (Vacation, Sick, Meetings, etc.), • Adhere to all assigned Standard Work and Role and Responsibilities for your role., • Additional duties may be assigned as needed, beyond those listed in the responsibilities. Changing business conditions may trigger changes to job responsibilities (i.e., COVID-19).
