Job Description Kelaca is seeking a Project Manager for our client partner in Phoenix, AZ. You will supercharge on-site project coordination for a major industrial facility, acting as the critical link between engineers, contractors, and ownership. Your mission: resolve issues rapidly, keep stakeholders aligned, and maintain forward momentum on a fast-moving, technically complex project. This is a field-facing leadership role, perfect for someone who thrives on structure, communication, and making things happen. What You’ll Achieve in Your First Year • Shorten issue cycle times and drive toward zero delays on-site., • Become the go-to facilitator who keeps meetings productive, problems visible, and solutions actionable., • Relieve technical experts from field logistics, allowing them to focus on engineering and design., • Improve stakeholder satisfaction and project efficiency through proactive, transparent communication., • Build an inclusive, collaborative site culture known for smooth delivery, professionalism, and teamwork. How You’ll Do It • Be present on-site daily, embedded within field and design coordination teams., • Lead and attend multiple construction and design meetings or huddles each day., • Walk the jobsite, identify potential issues early, and collaborate directly with stakeholders to resolve them., • Maintain documentation, issue logs, and progress tracking with rigorous follow-up., • Communicate constantly – email, text, chat, in-person – to keep everyone informed and engaged., • Act as a bridge and ambassador between diverse teams: de-escalate conflicts, translate technical challenges, and build trust., • Use practical, hands-on project management to maximize productivity and minimize confusion in the field. You’ll Be Successful If You Have • 10+ years of construction, project management, or field coordination experience on large industrial, structural, or MEP projects (semiconductor, healthcare, technology, or similar)., • A track record of making things move in complex, multi-stakeholder environments, especially when no one reports directly to you., • Exceptional organizational skills; the person who always knows who, what, where, and when., • Strong interpersonal and cultural fluency, able to work across backgrounds, languages, and communication styles., • Calm under pressure—translating high-stress moments into actionable next steps., • (Preferred but not required) Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline; certifications (PE, PMP, etc.) a plus but not essential. Skills & Tools • Field management, plan reading, and issue tracking., • RFI/submittal management and construction administration., • Meeting facilitation, documentation, and follow-through., • High-speed verbal, written, and digital communication., • Comfort with digital tools: project management software, messaging platforms, CAD/BIM viewing, and progress dashboards., • Bilingual or cross-cultural communication skills are a strong plus. Environment Cues • Full-time, on-site role at a large, dynamic industrial facility., • Fast-paced, high-stakes, multi-lingual, multi-party environment., • Reports to project or organizational leadership; partners functionally with owners, contractors, and design teams., • Emphasis on psychological safety, inclusion, open feedback, and mutual respect., • Regular field walks, site meetings, and hands-on documentation required.
