Job Description Job description: Vice President, Pharmacy Services Compensation: $164,860 $238,992 per year Relocation Incentive Bonus About the Opportunity This is a highly visible executive-level leadership role overseeing pharmacy services across six hospitals three in Nevada and three in California. The division is recognized for its commitment to advancing clinical excellence, operational efficiency, and patient safety. The Vice President will play a critical part in rebuilding and strengthening a high-performing pharmacy team, driving innovation in clinical practice, optimizing expense management, and ensuring regulatory excellence. Position Summary The Vice President of Pharmacy Services will lead all aspects of pharmacy operations across the division, ensuring alignment with the organizations strategic goals. This includes oversight of pharmacy departments, direction of cost-containment initiatives, support for clinical integration, and serving as the subject matter expert for supply chain leadership. The VP will partner closely with division executives, clinical leadership, and facility directors to achieve sustainable results in both quality and financial performance. Key Responsibilities • Provide leadership in pharmacy clinical services, operations, compliance, and expense management at both the division and facility level., • Oversee pharmacy departments to ensure regulatory readiness and consistent excellence in patient care., • Serve as subject matter expert for pharmacy purchasing patterns and business process models to optimize outcomes., • Collaborate with division and facility leadership to advance pharmacy practice and enhance patient outcomes., • Develop strategies to reduce cost while maintaining or improving quality of medication management., • Build strong, collaborative relationships with Supply Chain, HealthTrust, and CSG to align goals., • Create a culture of accountability, collaboration, and customer satisfaction, ensuring alignment with executive-level strategies., • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy required., • Doctor of Pharmacy, MBA, or MS preferred., • Licensed Pharmacist (must obtain state licensure within six months if not already held)., • Minimum 5 years of progressive pharmacy management experience in acute care; multi-site leadership experience required.
