Job Summary: The Student Enrichment Director (SED) is a core leadership role focused on delivering engaging tennis instruction and enrichment activities that support students growth and development. The SED will oversee daily tennis and enrichment programming; track attendance and program outcomes; and manage tennis staff, youth development coaches, and volunteers. This role requires thoughtful coordination with USTA partners, enrichment collaborators, families, and the broader AIM team. This position is a blend of front-line youth engagement, program execution, and administrative oversight. The SED will work closely with the Program Director to ensure effective execution of AIM missions and strategic plans. Enrichment Program Design & Implementation • Commit to and model AIMs Mission and Values for staff, students, and families, • Lead daily enrichment programming across middle and high school groups, • Design developmentally appropriate, engaging, and culturally responsive enrichment experiences, • Build and maintain an enrichment calendar with balanced exposure to: Academic support, Social-emotional learning, Physical wellness, Creative expression, Career exploration, Life skills development, • Integrate student voice, interests, and strengths into program design, • Align enrichment activities with youth development outcomes and organizational goals, • Ensure consistency, quality, and coherence across all enrichment offerings Enrichment Partnership Management • Identify, recruit, and onboard new enrichment partners (nonprofits, artists, educators, coaches, businesses, community organizations, colleges, and professionals), • Ensure partner alignment with AIM values, youth development philosophy, and safety standards, • Build and maintain strategic relationships with enrichment providers and collaborators, • Coordinate partner scheduling, logistics, space usage, materials, and expectations, • Operate as point of contact during all enrichment activities on and off site, • Create partnership agreements, MOUs, and scopes of work, • Monitor quality, engagement, and outcomes of partner-led programming, • Maintain a database of enrichment partners and community resources, • Collaborate with leadership to expand AIMs enrichment ecosystem Student Program Engagement Systems • Design and manage student engagement strategies that increase participation, retention, and belonging, • Coordinate and supervise Student Executive Board, • Plan and execute student events like monthly Family Dinner, year end banquet, etc., • Create structures that support positive identity development, leadership, and agency, • Implement student feedback loops (surveys, listening sessions, focus groups), • Ensure programming is responsive to student voice and evolving needs, • Build and manage engagement incentives and motivation structures like Snack Shack and recognition systems, • Partner with staff to address disengagement early through supportive interventions Parent & Family Engagement • Design and implement a family engagement strategy aligned with AIMs mission, • Build consistent communication structures with parents and caregivers, • Create accessible pathways for families to engage with programming, • Coordinate family events, showcases, and enrichment experiences, • Develop systems for family feedback and input, • Support parent understanding of enrichment goals, youth development outcomes, and student progress, • Build trust-based relationships with caregivers and families, • Partner with families to support student attendance, participation, and consistency, • Serve as a bridge between program staff and families Program Operations & Logistics • Coordinate internal staff and external enrichment partners for daily programming, • Manage schedules, space use, transitions, and program flow, • Prepare and maintain enrichment materials, supplies, and learning spaces, • Manage equipment and resource use across programming, • Track attendance and participation using ProCare, SAMIS, and AIM systems, • Maintain program documentation and operational systems, • Recruit and manage interns and volunteers to support enrichment program at AIM, • Coordinate all relevant data collection with Data Lead Coach and PD, • Coordinate with Marketing Lead Coach to best promote AIM enrichment programs Staff Leadership & Development • Supervise Youth Development Coaches, Volunteers, and Coaches-in-Training, • Provide onboarding, training, and coaching support as directed by PD, ED, • Lead daily team huddles and coordination meetings when directed by PD, ED, • Assign roles and responsibilities during programming blocks and transitions when directed by PD, ED, • Ensure staff consistency with expectations for engagement, transitions, and communication Qualifications • Ability to represent AIM positively to staff, families, partners, and community stakeholders, • Strong organizational and systems-building skills, • High emotional intelligence and relational capacity, • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to dynamic environments, • Strong partnership-building and collaboration skills, • Excellent written and verbal communication, • Detail-oriented and process-driven, • Professional, dependable, and initiative-taking, • Comfortable working across community, school, nonprofit, and family systems, • Proficient in Microsoft Suite and Google Suite applications, • Valid FL Drivers License with reliable transportation and insurance, • CPR/AED and First Aid Certification within 90 days of employment
