Behavioral Support • Implement positive behavior support strategies., • Remain calm and patient during periods of dysregulation or challenging behaviors., • Redirect behaviors appropriately while maintaining the child's dignity and emotional well-being., • Follow established behavior plans provided by parents or therapists. Household Support Related to Child Care • Prepare meals and snacks for the child., • Clean up child-related areas and activities., • Wash children's dishes and assist with children's laundry as requested., • Organize toys, learning materials, and sensory equipment. Qualifications: • Previous experience working with children with autism, special needs, developmental disabilities, or behavioral challenges preferred., • Experience as a nanny, childcare provider, teacher, paraprofessional, RBT, therapist assistant, camp counselor, or special education aide is highly valued., • Strong patience, empathy, and problem-solving skills., • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license., • Ability to pass a comprehensive background screening., • CPR and First Aid Certification preferred., • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
