Job Description Kairos Events in Gainesville, FL is looking for one marketing intern to join our 5 person strong team. We are located on 6 West University Avenue and 12 West University Avenue. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, punctual, and hard-working. Benefits As an Event Producer, you will: • Coordinate all production needs post booking with consideration to venue look, feel, and décor, • Update Menu Selections & BEOs, Invoices, and Contracts via Tripleseat, • Maintain email correspondence with clients regarding the logistics of their upcoming events, • Coordinate and source all rentals for events, • Liaise with any necessary outside vendors that align with the OTM brand to ensure consistent, high-quality service to our clients, • Schedule and conduct tastings for current clients, • Create floor plans and Run of Show for events, • Complete packing lists to ensure accurate pack out for events, • Accompany Sales Managers on client walk-throughs, • Manage client relationships throughout the planning process, • Request clients’ reviews on various websites, • Serve as an Event Captain at events or communicate all event information to the Event Captain responsible for day of execution, • Create a Staffing position sheet and manage staff at events, • Meet rental company for deliveries prior to events, • Clerical, record-keeping and office support as needed; other projects and tasks as reasonably assigned Skills: • Proficiency in Tripleseat, Google Suite incl. Gmail, Calendar, Sheets, etc. Kairos Events creates memorable, well-executed events using deliberate and mindful event planning, warm and caring service, and consistent menu delivery and execution.
