Purpose of This Role This role exists to manage and oversee all aspects of the Production Departments growth, business, management and operations, including employee trainings, paperwork, managing, leading, and strategic planning. As the Production Manager, you will be working with different teams and departments to bring excellent quality of work to our customers. The Production Manager exercises technical and functional supervision over assigned staff, including the Quality Control Supervisors, Lead Technicians, Assistant Technicians, and any contractors in production. This role is for someone who is self disciplined and can work independently as well as on a team effectively. Principle Duties and Responsibilities • Manages the activities of the production teams, business office and warehouse, including prioritization and organization., • Ensures all PSA notes and information are input correctly and accurately., • Ensures WSA is signed and all documentation is provided to do the job for customers/clients., • Communicates with Customers in an effective, timely, clear, and consistent manner., • Delegates duties to personnel, reviews personnel performance and holds themselves and staff accountable to Company standards., • Participates in personnel selection; provides or coordinates staff training; sets written expectations for personnel; coaches, develops and holds personnel accountable for meeting expectations; works with employees to correct deficiencies; implements discipline procedures; completes employee evaluations and development plans for career success in the Company., • Attends professional training, as directed and appropriate for the position. Gathers approval for requested trainings that may provide benefit to the position., • Recognizes, promotes and celebrates success with staff for their accomplishments., • Provides timely and accurate reports and updates the Director of Operations and President/Owner., • Develops, implements and updates general operating policies and procedures given input from managers; policies and procedure shall improve Company efficiency measures., • Ensures Company compliance with laws, rules and regulations., • Compares budgets to actual performance, conducts a monthly budget review and prepares the annual budget with the Director of Operations and Owner/President., • Holds responsibility for the gross profit margin for the production department., • Locates and contracts with subcontractors; reviews subcontractor work, quality levels, pricing, and inspects worksite periodically to ensure company standards are being met., • Manages professional and timely customer service contact with clients, employees and vendors, • Implements the company vision and mission and achieves goals., • Respects and maintains the confidentiality of company, client, and personnel information., • Demonstrates a positive image of the Company to staff and clients; this shall include oral and written communication and visual presentation., • Applies all safety rules and regulations and prevents work hazards; trains employees in safety procedures and responsibilities., • Other duties as assigned. Your Qualifications • Believe in our mission to Restore Peace in Crisis, • Embody our Core Values of Humility, Unity, Growth, and Ownership, • ***Must have a valid drivers license and clean record for insurance purposes, • ***Must be able to pass a background check, • At least 2 years of management/leadership experience, • 2 - 5 years of industry experience, • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance, • Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, attics) ***Only when needed, • Delegate and lead staff in tasks, growth and programs, • Manage details of multiple projects in an efficient and organized method, • Manage professional and timely contact with clients, employees and vendors, • Produce work in a timely, budgeted, scheduled and profitable manner for the Company, • Provide motivation and communication to implement the Companys vision and mission, • Manage and supervise employees to their maximum potential, including evaluations, coaching for job performance, attendance and meeting expectations, • Work on call and in all emergency situations, as needed, • Generate information within a reasonable time frame with accuracy and efficiency, • Manage professional and timely contact with clients, employees and vendors, • Produce work in a timely, budgeted, scheduled and profitable manner for the Company, • Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with those contacted through the course of work; gain cooperation through discussion and persuasion, • Manage crises as they occur. Assist in solving problems and in making this a more effective Company, • Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing; must be proficient in reading and writing the English language, • Apply general mathematical and data entry skills, including the use of a mobile smartphone device, • Apply established Company policies and procedures, • Work under pressure and coordinate numerous activities and groups of people who need to cooperate to achieve maximum efficiency
