Advanced Facility and Technology: • Work with cutting-edge dental technology, including digital x-rays, CBCT imaging, and advanced diagnostic tools, • Join a highly rated practice with a 4.9-star rating from over 256 reviews, known for exceptional care and patient comfort, • Located at 55 East Mosholu Parkway North, Bronx, NY 10467, with easy access to public transportation Your Role & Responsibilities: As our Dental X-ray Technician, you will: • Greet and comfortably position patients for radiographic examinations, clearly explaining procedures, • Take precise digital dental x-rays (Panoramic, Bitewing, Periapical, and CBCT scans), • Evaluate images to ensure diagnostic quality, retaking as necessary, • Maintain strict compliance with radiation safety protocols to protect patients and staff, • Assist dentists, dental hygienists, and dental assistants as needed with patient care, • Maintain accurate documentation and records of radiographic images and diagnostic findings, • Perform routine maintenance checks on radiographic equipment, ensuring optimal function, • Provide patients with compassionate care, offering reassurance and comfort throughout their procedures What We’re Looking For: • High school diploma or GED (required), • Completion of an accredited program in radiologic technology or dental radiography, • Current NY State Dental Assistant (DA) license, DANB CDA certification preferred, • Radiography certification required, • CPR certification required, • Minimum of one year of dental assisting experience preferred, including proficiency with digital imaging technology, • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a warm, patient-focused demeanor, • Familiarity with Denticon or similar dental software (preferred), • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Interview Process: • Initial phone interview, • In-person interview Ready to join our dedicated team and advance your career?
