The nurse will play a critical role in administering and monitoring moderate sedation, ensuring patient safety throughout procedures, and supporting physicians and clinical teams in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities • Administer and monitor moderate sedation for interventional pain management procedures, • Perform IV insertion and manage IV therapies, • Conduct thorough pre-, intra-, and post-procedure patient assessments, • Monitor patient vitals and recovery, identifying and responding to changes in condition, • Collaborate closely with physicians, anesthesia providers, and clinical staff to ensure optimal patient safety and comfort, • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation, • Required: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, • Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a procedural, critical care, or acute care setting, • Preferred: Experience in peri-anesthesia, PACU, ER, ICU, interventional radiology, or GI lab, • BLS (AHA or ARC) at time of hire, • CNOR (Surgery), • CPAN (Post-Anesthesia), • SGNA (GI Lab) Qualifications, • Strong IV and sedation-related clinical skills, • Excellent critical thinking, assessment, and patient monitoring abilities, • Clear, compassionate communication skills with patients and care teams, • Ability to adapt to multiple clinical environments while maintaining consistent standards of care
