Job Description Facility Manager The Facility Manager reports directly to the Vice President of Facilities and Engineering. The role is responsible for ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of equipment and facilities. This role leads the maintenance team, spare parts inventory program, manages the bi-annual shutdowns, and oversees the execution of special capital projects. Essential Functions: This description is intended to be illustrative of the major duties performed by the employee assigned to this position. • Provide oversight of troubleshooting and problem-solving equipment and building repairs and preventative maintenance to ensure reliable daily operation of production and building equipment., • Champion robust and rapid response to production and facility related equipment deviations., • Plan, organize, and execute biannual facility shutdowns including defining scope of work definition, task scheduling, shutdown vendor management, and budgeting., • Collaborate with Reliability Engineer to investigate and troubleshoot production and building equipment failures and contribute to the completion of root cause analysis and CAPA action items as assigned., • Coordinate with cross-functional teams and contractors to ensure safe, on-time, and on-budget completion., • Develop shutdown reports and lessons-learned for continuous improvement., • Oversee the planning and execution of capital projects related to infrastructure, equipment upgrades, and facility expansion., • Lead annual capital planning exercises and facilitate the identification and ranking of capital projects., • Monitor cost center costs and collaborate with finance on monthly forecasts., • Facilitate regular capex project reviews with finance and project engineers., • Provide regular updates to senior management on project progress and risks., • Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations, • Directly hire and lead a team of engineers and technicians., • Foster a positive and productive work environment, providing guidance, coaching, and mentoring as needed to achieve a culture of excellence and collaboration., • Conduct regular 1:1’s to address performance, feedback and relationship building., • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management or related field and/or commensurate experience., • 7+ years of experience in facilities, plant, or maintenance management, with demonstrated success in shutdowns and capital project delivery., • Strong knowledge of industry maintenance practices, project management methodologies, and EHS regulations., • Good working knowledge of spare parts and inventory management., • Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams., • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills., • Understanding of 503B regulatory requirements, cGMP standards, and USP guidelines is a plus!, • Proficient written, verbal and oral English communication skills are required., • Proficiency in Blue Mountain ( or other related CMMS) software required., • Ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time., • Ability to lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds periodically., • 100% employer paid medical plan., • Dental & Vision insurance options including FSA & HSA, • Employer Paid Life Insurance & Employee Assistance Program, • Short Term & Long-Term Disability Insurance, • Up to 4% 401K Matching (100% vested on day one!), • Generous Paid Time Off Options – vacation, sick, paid leave and holidays!, • $5,250 Annual Tuition Reimbursement after 6 months, • $1,000 Referral Bonus Program with no limit Timeline: We will be accepting applications on an ongoing basis until position is filled.
