Job Description The Accounting Product Specialist is an essential member of the Fourlane sales organization. This role is focused on identifying, qualifying, and engaging businesses in need of Fourlane’s accounting software, merchant services, payroll solutions, and financial expertise. The BDR is often the first point of contact with prospective clients and plays a critical role in shaping the client experience and driving revenue growth. This is a 100% remote position; you must live in the following states to to apply for this position. Remote (eligible states include AL, AZ, CO, CT, FL, GA, IL, NC, ND, NV, OH, OR, SC, TN, TX, VA,) This role requires an outgoing, persuasive, and highly motivated individual who thrives in a people-oriented environment, excels at relationship building, and is energized by meeting and exceeding sales targets. It also emphasizes a consultative approach—understanding client needs, crafting tailored solutions, and differentiating Fourlane’s offerings from competitors. Responsibilities • Conduct discovery sessions with prospective clients to understand their business goals, pain points, and ROI expectations., • Develop tailored solutions and proposals that address client needs, including accounting software, merchant services, payroll, and financial support., • Collaborate with internal technical experts to present and demonstrate Fourlane’s solutions effectively., • Effectively communicate the value proposition of our offerings and differentiate them from competitors in the marketplace., • Navigate terms and pricing agreements with clients to secure profitable engagements while ensuring satisfaction., • Connect with prospective and existing clients via video meetings, email, phone, and online chat., • Research potential clients and tailor outreach strategies for optimal engagement., • Proactively identify and qualify businesses in need of accounting software, Fourlane CX, and financial expertise., • Facilitate clients through the onboarding process, ensuring smooth handoffs to account managers and consultants., • Maintain brand consistency and professionalism in all client exchanges., • Manage all clients in the sales pipeline and ensure timely follow-ups., • Build professional networks and partnerships to expand reach., • Consistently meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales targets (including quota of ~40 deals per quarter)., • Log activities, meeting notes, and client data in CRM systems with diligence., • Maintain detailed records of client interactions and continuously refine outreach strategies., • Provide ongoing support and guidance throughout the sales process, addressing objections and ensuring client satisfaction., • Collaborate cross-functionally to share insights, improve processes, and strengthen the sales support structure., • Microsoft Office Suite, • Salesforce (or similar CRM), • QuickBooks Enterprise, • 1–2 years of outbound-focused sales, business development, or B2B prospecting experience., • Proven track record of achieving defined sales metrics, quotas, or deal-based targets., • Experience in client-facing roles, with confidence in pitching financial software and services to executives and SMB owners., • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite., • CRM experience (Salesforce or similar preferred)., • Familiarity with financial software is a plus., • Excellent oral and written communication skills., • Strong time management and multitasking abilities., • Self-starter, accountable, reliable, and a strong team player., • Outgoing, energetic, persuasive, and motivated to build client relationships., • Resilient in fast-paced, high-volume outreach environments., • Intuit experience preferredCompany DescriptionFourlane, the #1 QuickBooks Solution Provider and Reseller, advises clients with their financial systems, accounting software, and ERP system challenges.
