Job Description We are seeking Adjunct Faculty to teach courses in the Physical Sciences, specifically Physics, Astronomy, and Chemistry. At PCCC, courses are offered in the traditional 15-week semesters and meet twice a week during the morning, afternoon or evening. Faculty are responsible for teaching both the Lecture and Lab for any courses they are assigned. Job DescriptionWe are seeking part-time Pre-College instructors for High School Math, Science, Special Education and Elective. Under the leadership of the Program Assistant Directors and Coordinators, the Pre-College Program Teachers provide academic instruction and support to students enrolled in the College Bound, GEAR UP or Upward Bound Programs. Teachers provide content-specific rigorous lessons for enrichment and remedial support. Other services and activities coordinated by the individuals in this role include design of engagement plans for students who may be struggling and offer other supports and strategies for student success. About the Position: The High School Division at Grace Church School seeks part-time math and/or science consultants for the school’s Math & Science Center. Most tutoring will take place on campus, with Zoom as an additional option. The ideal Math & Science Center consultant is reliable, an exceptional listener, clear communicator, interested in working with high school students, and embody anti-racist ideals in practice. Consultants must attend orientation meetings and participate in an in-house certification process with Math & Science Coordinators.
