Job Description1st Shift Maintenance Technician (Paying $45/hr) Job Descriptio We are currently seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join a medical manufacturer specializing in sterile water and syringes. The ideal candidate will have prior experience with molding and filling equipment, as well as a strong understanding of PLC troubleshooting. Responsibilities • Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment., • Organize and execute all production equipment upgrades, repairs, adjustments, and refurbishments., • Prepare equipment breakdown analysis as required., • Perform general housekeeping and facilities maintenance., • Change out motors, heaters, relays, starters, etc., • Coordinate work with outside contractors on production equipment., • Execute line changeovers., • Comply with GMP, safety, and audit standards., • Support the maintenance and calibration of equipment, fixtures, and tools., • Provide all necessary documentation in support of the above tasks., • Lift and manipulate packages up to 50 pounds and push or pull pallet jacks containing 150 pounds., • Diagnose, plan, and perform operations necessary to install, modify, troubleshoot, repair, and overhaul complex manufacturing and support equipment., • Focus on advanced troubleshooting on control systems, servo drives, motors, HMIs, and PLCs on complex high-speed packaging lines., • Troubleshoot and repair Pneumatic Control Systems, PLC Systems, RSLinx, Process Control Instrumentation, 3 phase (480V) Circuits, Motor starters, and controls., • Coordinate with other technicians, production personnel, engineering, management, and other stakeholders to communicate and plan maintenance activities., • Support and substitute for Production Lead in driving production goals, including training, coaching, and filling in for Machine Operators as needed., • Coordinate with equipment and service vendors for technical assistance., • Experience in maintenance of electrical, mechanical, hydraulics, and pneumatics systems., • Proficiency in preventive maintenance and PLC control., • Strong troubleshooting skills., • Experience in Food & Beverage or Pharmaceutical Industrial Maintenance preferred., • ElectroMechanical Maintenance experience., • Advanced skills or trades training related to industrial maintenance such as welding, fabrication, machining, precision alignment, vibration, ultrasonic, and thermography analysis., • Experience with blow molding and/or injection molding., • Experience with filler, capper, drop packer, or palletizer., • Knowledge of industry-standard motion sensing and control devices., • Expert knowledge of DC and AC motors and drives., • Skilled in PLC programming and HMI interface configuration., • Experience with FDA regulated products., • Associates/Bachelors degree, relevant certification, or 2-3 years of Electro/Mechanical experience in an automated manufacturing environment., • At least 1 year of experience in troubleshooting and repair of Pneumatic Control Systems, PLC Systems, Process Control Instrumentation, 3 phase (480V) Circuits, Motor starters, and controls preferred.
