Job Description The Crowther Group is a commercial general contractor specializing in multi-site construction projects. We are growing fast in our focus sectors of retail, healthcare and education projects. We have an immediate need for a Project Manager to join our team. Experienced professionals with pre-construction experience a plus! At The Crowther Group, the Project Manager plans, directs, and coordinates activities of multiple projects to ensure that the established objectives are accomplished within the prescribed time frame and budget. The Project Manager directly supervises multiple employees working on their projects and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Company’s policies and applicable Federal and State laws. One of the most important aspects of this role is staying in contact and establishing good relationships with Owners, Customers, Contractors, Design Consultants, Public Agency Officials, Employees and the General Public which requires tact, sensitivity and professionalism. Job Type: Full-time Estimator/Project Manager Responsibilities • Manages key client projects, • Prepares work to be estimated by gathering proposals, plans, specifications, and related documents., • Identifies labor, material, and time requirements by studying proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents., • Computes costs by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements., • Resolves discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information., • Presents prepared estimate by assembling and displaying numerical and descriptive information., • Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends., • Maintains cost data base by entering and backing up data., • Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing technical publications., • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed., • Upon award, coordination and completion of projects on time within budget and within scope., • Assists in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility., • Oversees all aspects of projects. Set deadlines, assign responsibilities and monitor and summarize progress of project. Prepare reports for upper management regarding status of project., • Approves monthly trade and subcontractor billings., • Coordinates internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects., • Manages changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques., • Ensures that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget, • Manages the relationship with the client and all stakeholders., • Meets with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project., • Proven working experience in estimating and project management with CMAR, CSP, Negotiated, and JOC contracts., • Bachelor's degree and 2-4 years of experience as a Project Manager in the commercial construction industry., • 5+ years’ experience in commercial construction—retail, education and/or healthcare preferred., • OSHA 10 or 30 certified, • Proven track record of experience in analyzing project information and estimating commercial construction projects as well as planning, reporting, paying attention to detail, informing others, performing requirements analysis., • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills and overall professionalism., • Excellent written and verbal communication skills., • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills., • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office especially Excel, Word and Outlook., • Familiar with a variety of the field concepts, practices and procedures., • Plan and spec reading expertise., • Lead, coach and direct the work of others on project team., • Proficient in Windows operating systems and associated software., • Procore or similar construction management experience is a must., • Ability to schedule construction project in Microsoft Project, Primavera, or similar schedule software from preconstruction to turnover., • Meet budgetary objectives and adjust project constraints based on financial analysis., • Lead with patience, good judgement and integrity, always as an ambassador of The Crowther Group brand, • Reliable Transportation Benefits: 401K with Match Medical Dental Vision STD Life Paid holidays and more!
