In this leadership role, you will guide and support clinical teams, promote a culture of excellence, and help shape the future of patient care through servant leadership. • Lead and support competent, compassionate co‑workers in delivering exceptional patient care., • Ensure appropriate staffing levels and collaborate closely with the Staffing Office on patient flow and bed management., • Use resources efficiently to meet productivity and financial goals., • Partner with clinical leadership, physicians, and administrative teams to enhance workflows and improve processes across the continuum of care., • Inspire and model a shared vision—encouraging change, professional growth, and continuous improvement., • Mentor, guide, and empower co‑workers to become leaders of change within the organization., • Provide meaningful recognition and foster a positive, engaging team culture through servant leadership., • Hold direct and indirect caregivers accountable for professional responsibilities, adherence to policies, and regulatory standards., • Participate in performance evaluations in collaboration with the Clinical Manager., • Demonstrate Mercy’s Mission, Values, and Service Standards in all interactions. Qualifications Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with one of the following: * Associate Degree in Nursing * Nursing Diploma * Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Licensure: Must hold and maintain a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Missouri or possess compact licensure, in accordance with state board of nursing regulations. Experience: 3-5 years of hospital nursing experience Certifications: * Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association, or completion within 30 days of hire.
