This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Cardiac Telemetry RNs seeking travel nursing jobs in North Carolina.\n \n\nCardiac Telemetry RN Job Details\n\n • Job Title: Travel Registered Nurse – Cardiac Telemetry\n, • Location: Wilmington, NC 28401 (North Carolina healthcare jobs)\n, • Facility Setting: Cardiac Telemetry Unit\n, • Assignment Length: 13-week contract (option to extend)\n, • Shift: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week (18:45 - 07:15)\n, • Total Hours: 36 hours per week\n, • Unit Orientation: 24 hours\n, • Weekend Requirement: 4 shifts per 4 weeks (flexible scheduling)\n, • Patient Ratios: 1:4 (surgical step down), 1:5-6 (lower acuity)\n, • Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1700-$1750/week\n\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n\n, • Active NC or Compact RN license (must be valid at start date)\n, • Minimum 2 years of recent experience as a Cardiac Telemetry RN or on a cardiac floor\n, • BLS & ACLS certifications required\n, • NIHSS certification required\n, • Epic charting experience preferred\n, • Must pass EKG testing prior to start\n, • Clinical skills: Cardiac Telemetry, PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown, Sheath Removal, Dysrhythmia Interpretation & Management, Cardiac drips (including titration), Chest tubes, Non-invasive airway management\n, • Preferred: Arterial line management, Wound Care/Wound Vac, Charge nurse experience\n, • Ability to float within hospital or to affiliate hospitals as needed\n, • Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)\n\n\nCardiac Telemetry Nurse Responsibilities\n\n, • Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients with cardiac conditions including atrial fibrillation, CHF, ACS, CAD, valve disorders, endocarditis, and cardiomyopathy\n, • Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry, manage cardiac drips, and respond to cardiac emergencies\n, • Assist with pre- and post-cardiac procedures such as cardiac catheterization, CABG, valve replacements, pacemaker placements, and vascular/thoracic surgeries\n, • Perform sheath removal, wound care, and utilize specialized equipment (Doppler, bladder scanner, EKG, chest tubes, epicardial pacing wires)\n, • Document patient care using EPIC and manage medications via Pyxis\n, • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including physical therapy, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, and social services\n, • Participate in unit rotations and float assignments as required\n We believe in empowering your career.
