Job DescriptionJob Summary Join our fast-growing team to improve lives through real estate! The Assistant Property Manager serves as the face of the company, providing exceptional service to residents at 9 properties (roughly 325 units) in the Buffalo, Hamburg, and Tonawanda areas. Reporting to the Property Manager, this person helps to manage day-to-day property management, leasing, and resident satisfaction at apartment and townhome communities. Salary Range: $21-26/hourBenefits • Medical, dental, vision, life, and pet insurance with company contribution, • Flexible paid time off and paid holidays, • 401(k) retirement plan with employer match, • Company profit sharing program, • Team outings and volunteer events, • Professional development reimbursement program, • Healthy lifestyle reimbursement program, • Discounted rates at Birgo PropertiesCore Responsibilities, • Maximize operational performance of properties, • Provide excellent customer service through prompt, professional, and authentically caring responses, • Lead the leasing efforts for your property group by executing or overseeing advertising, applications, showings, walkthroughs, move-ins, and renewals, • Maintain clean and safe properties by resolving tenant complaints, conducting weekly onsite inspections, and enforcing rules of occupancy, • 2+ years experience in leasing or property management, • In-depth understanding of Pittsburgh's market-rate multi-family real estate industry, • Experience with Section 8 (HACP, ACHA), • Experience with AppFolio or other property management software, • Scattered site experience (preferred), • Technology savvy, • Excellent interpersonal skills, • Strong skills in written, verbal, and persuasive communication, • Excited to manage multiple properties and projects simultaneously, • Careful with rules and comfortable working within established processes, • Reliable personal transportation and valid driver's license for property visits during business hours and as needed after-hours, • Able to ascend/descend stairs and traverse uneven terrain, • Able to transport up to 25 lbs, • Able to use a computer for a full workdayBirgo's Values, • Teamwork: We are collaborative, approachable, and engaged, • Humility: We are selfless, gracious, and continuously improving, • Rhinocerality: We are proactive, dynamic, and courageous, • Integrity: We are trustworthy, principled, and sincere, • Vision: We are forward-thinking, empathetic, and adaptable
