As a Project Manager on the Development Team, you will be a key driver in bringing new franchise locations to life—from initial approval through grand opening. You will coordinate and manage cross-functional efforts between internal teams, franchisees, and external partners to ensure every project is delivered on time, within scope, and in alignment with Playa Bowls’ brand standards. You are a highly organized, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is energized by the challenge of supporting rapid franchise growth. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Lead end-to-end project management of new unit development, including timelines, documentation, and milestone tracking., • Serve as the primary point of contact for franchisees during the development phase., • Coordinate cross-functional collaboration between departments such as Real Estate, Legal, Construction, Marketing, Training, and Operations., • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, status reports, and risk mitigation strategies., • Track and manage critical path activities, ensuring franchisees and vendors meet required deadlines., • Facilitate recurring development update calls with internal stakeholders and franchisees., • Support onboarding of new franchisees by organizing required documentation, orientation timelines, and compliance checklists., • Identify and resolve project bottlenecks or delays, escalating when necessary., • Ensure consistent communication with all stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle., • Maintain up-to-date records in project management tools and FranConnect., • Bachelor’s degree in business, Project Management, or a related field; PMP certification preferred, • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in franchise operations, retail development, or multi-unit project management, • Proficiency with project management software and tools, • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives, competing priorities, timelines and stakeholders across different markets., • Exceptional communication and relationship-building abilities, with a talent for partnering effectively with franchisees, cross-functional teams, and local community partners., • Background in the restaurant, quick-service, or fast-casual dining industry, with an understanding of consumer trends in the food and beverage sector., • Proven experience working within a franchisor organization or multi-unit brand environment, • Strong understanding of franchise agreements, development schedules, and real estate timelines, • Proactive, solutions-focused approach with exceptional attention to detail, • Ability to thrive in a high-growth, fast-paced, and continually evolving brand environment, • Willingness to travel periodically for site visits and meetings, otherwise, work is completed in a remote setting, • Ability to work at a desk and use a computer for extended periods, • Ability to sit for prolonged periods while working on a laptop or attending meeting in an office or remote setting Inspire and support our communities one bowl at a time.
