Job DescriptionDescriptionJob Summary The Merchandiser ensures that products are available in stores at the appropriate inventory levels at the customer locations. Key ResponsibilitiesEssential Job Duties • Travels to customer site., • Stock and replenish merchandise on sales floor, • Helps with installation of new fixtures., • Ensure that all products are tagged properly., • Maintain high standards of visual merchandising: ensure displays are neat, fronted, clean, and in compliance with plan-ograms or fixture layouts., • Pulls out of date products from shelf and processes product orders., • Cleans store racks and shelving and inspects condition of equipment., • Maintaining stock rooms and back-of-house areas; keep workspace clean, and organized., • Resolves problems at customer locations., • Unloads delivery truck and ensures new product is placed in appropriate area., • Follow FIFO procedures by placing newer inventory behind older stock, ensuring proper product rotation, and minimizing waste., • In keeping with our value of Customer Satisfaction, this position is expected to provide high-quality customer service to our internal and external customers, vendors, and others alike., • Adheres to company Policy and Procedures., • Acts as a role model within and outside the company., • Performs duties as workload necessitates., • Maintains a positive and respectful attitude., • Communicates regularly with supervisor and about department issues., • Demonstrates flexible and efficient time management and ability to prioritize., • Consistently reports to work on time, prepared to perform duties of position., • Meets department productivity standards., • Language Ability: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra., • Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
