Apply now to join one of the most sought-after New Mexico nursing jobs!\n \n\nER RN Job Details – Albuquerque, NM\n\n • Location: Albuquerque, NM 87106 (New Mexico healthcare job)\n, • Facility: Level I Trauma Center, Teaching Hospital\n, • Assignment Length: 13 weeks (travel nurse contract)\n, • Start Date: March 9, 2026\n, • Shifts: Night shifts, 3x12-hour (19:00 – 07:30)\n, • Hours per Week: 36 (option for 48 hours/week available)\n, • Patient Ratio: 1:5\n, • Guaranteed Hours: Contracted hours per week (facility may call off up to 3 shifts per 13-week assignment)\n, • Parking: Free on-site parking\n, • Scrub Color: Black (not provided)\n, • Estimated Weekly Salary: $1680 - $1800\n\n\nER RN Qualifications & Requirements\n\n, • Active New Mexico RN license (or pending at time of submission)\n, • Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room RN experience (1.5 years considered for strong candidates)\n, • Level I Trauma experience strongly preferred; Level II Trauma experience required\n, • Travel nursing experience preferred; first-time travelers with strong Level I experience welcome\n, • Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC (must have TNCC prior to submission), NIHSS (can be pending)\n, • No RQI certifications accepted\n, • No local candidates within 75 miles of Albuquerque\n, • COVID-19 and flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions accepted with documentation)\n, • Ability to float to Adult PCU and ED Holding areas as needed\n\n\nER RN Responsibilities\n\n, • Deliver high-quality, compassionate emergency nursing care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients\n, • Perform triage, assessment, and stabilization of trauma and medical emergencies in a Level I Trauma Center\n, • Administer medications, including IV medications, following best practices and bar code scanning protocols\n, • Document and communicate clinical findings accurately using Cerner charting system\n, • Manage arterial lines, central lines, and blood product administration\n, • Respond to trauma, neuro-trauma, STEMI, stroke, and other critical situations\n, • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including respiratory, radiology, and pharmacy\n, • Float to Adult PCU, ED Holding, and Trauma areas as required\n Planet Healthcare Job ID #439446.
