Position Summary: The Manager of Facilities and Workplace Services is responsible for the planning and execution of the repairs & maintenance program in the retail locations, NY office, NJ Warehouse, and Company owned properties. They are also responsible for supporting the Workplace Services within the NY & NJ Offices such as the showroom, mailroom, common areas, and other employee-related services. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: • Identify and develop short, mid, long-term repair and maintenance plans for leased stores & owned properties, • Develop and manage facilities budget and forecasts for the stores and office repairs & maintenance, utilities, and capital repairs based on company growth and anticipated business needs., • Partner closely with retail ops, regional managers, store managers, other internal departments (real estate, SP&C, LP, finance, visual, etc), vendors, landlords & tenants on facility related matters., • Utilize and manage Service Channel software to monitor and respond to stores repair requests., • Analyze & report on Service Channel data to try to anticipate future preventive maintenance opportunities as well as to keep senior and regional management informed of trends and challenges., • Responsible for the negotiation and management of contracts related to the store’s and office building systems including but not limited to mechanical, electrical, fire/life safety, plumbing, waste management, etc. as well as other facility & building related contracts and vendors, • Proactively identify and implement sustainable initiatives where possible., • Responsible for the gathering and reporting of facilities sustainability data on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis., • Manage vendor performance and related KPI’s while simultaneous Identifying industry leading vendors., • Be aware of all local building inspection, monitoring, and or reporting requirements and ensure that all work or reporting is sufficiently budgeted and executed within any required deadlines., • Manage all 3rd party property management firms and personnel to ensure our owned properties are proactively maintained., • Responsible for oversight of mailroom and workplace service functions (kitchenette’s, print rooms, common areas, and showroom setup/breakdown support) in corporate office., • Develop and maintain strong and supportive partnerships with all corporate departments, executives, field management, building engineers, tenants, and stores., • Bachelor’s degree., • At least 5-7 years of experience in a retail environment (preferably luxury specialty retail)., • Strong relationship management experience., • Demonstrated experience of strong negotiation skills., • Strong analytical skills., • Ability to work independently., • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task, and work under shifting deadlines in a fast-paced environment., • Work effectively as a team member with other members of management., • Exemplify and communicate the desired culture and philosophies of Ferragamo., • Outstanding verbal, written, multi-tasking and presentation skills., • Proficiency in Microsoft Office., • Knowledge of SAP., • Please see “requirements” above., • Physical requirements: This position involves constant moving, walking, talking, hearing, reaching, grabbing, sitting; may occasionally involve stooping, kneeling, crouching and climbing step stools and ladders., • May involve lifting at least of 25 - 50 lbs., • Full-time position (Mon-Fri) with a rotating on-call requirement for evenings and weekends to ensure 24/7 coverage., • Domestic & Canada travel may be required.
