Managing billions in media, our dynamic teamof consultative marketers, creatives, analysts and technologistschallenge traditional ways of planning and measurement through meticulous testing and data science across each milestone of the customer journey. *Proficiency in spoken and written English at an advanced level is required for this role. * A day in the life: • AI & Product Leadership, • Champion the integration of AI technologies and automation into every stage of our software development lifecycle (SDLC) to enhance team productivity and product impact., • Utilize and advance Power Digital's nova ecosystem, embedding AI in our engineering and product processes., • People Leadership, • Lead and mentor a team of engineers to deliver reliable, scalable, and innovative cloud-based applications that meet evolving business needs., • Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and foster career growth through feedback and upskilling., • Grow the product engineering team by actively participating in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding., • Project Leadership, • Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and technical leaders to scope, plan, and deliver high-impact initiativesfast., • Break down complex initiatives into manageable, iterative tasks for your team., • Ensure consistent delivery of features and enhancements on tight timelines, balancing velocity and quality., • Process Leadership, • Lead agile ceremonies and drive the day-to-day activities of the engineering team, minimizing process overhead and maximizing impact., • Collaborate with other engineering managers and tech leads to continuously improve department culture and practices., • Stay ahead of industry trends and leverage your technical expertise to refine how we work, ship, and support our products., • BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience., • 3+ years hands-on object-oriented programming experience in at least one major language (Java, .NET, PHP, Python, Go, Node, etc.)., • 2+ years experience managing and growing engineering teams (3+ engineers)., • Demonstrated experience recruiting, hiring, coaching, and developing high-performing engineers., • Proven track record breaking down complex projects and shipping features to production on time., • Strong advocate for integrating AI/automation into engineering processes and products., • Excellent interpersonal skills and crisp written and verbal communication., • AI Integration: At least 30% of engineering output leverages AI tools (e.g., Copilot, nova, automation)., • Delivery Performance: At least 90% of roadmap features shipped on time and within quality thresholds (< 5% defect rate), • People Growth: Ensure that over 80% of engineers achieve a documented quarterly growth goal, • Lead, mentor, and grow your team to improve technical quality, stability, and innovation in our applications., • Build, refine, and own engineering team processesstriking the right balance between speed and excellence., • Base salary + commission opportunities, • Medical Bonus, • 15 paid vacation days (PTO) per year, • Up to 4 hours per quarter for paid Volunteer Time Off (VTO) towards philanthropic endeavors, • Fully flex work environment: full-remote, in-office, or hybrid, • A one time 400.000 COP Work From Home (WFH) stipend automatically added to your first paycheck, • Employee Assistance Program (EAP), • 17 observed Colombian national holidays + 2 mental health recharge days per year, • Legal benefits like Prima, Cesantias, • Paid Private and Public Social Security, • Unlimited opportunities for growth & leadership within a rapidly growing firm, • Ongoing employee development programs for personal and professional growth (Hedgehog and Vital 5s), • Quarterly awards including prize money and recognition for outstanding performance
