About Bonsai Building Services Bonsai Building Services, LLC is seeking a Low Voltage Security Field Supervisor to oversee field execution on commercial security and low-voltage projects. Our work includes access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, fiber optics, structured cabling, pathways, and integrated security systems in government facilities, data centers, secure sites, and other mission-critical environments. This role is for a field leader who can coordinate manpower, protect schedule, maintain safety and quality, and help technicians build long-term careers with Bonsai. What We Expect A Bonsai Field Supervisor owns field execution. We are looking for a leader who can manage people, production, materials, documentation, safety, trade coordination, and customer expectations while maintaining Bonsai's workmanship standard. Own field execution, manpower coordination, safety, quality, and schedule performance. Set clear expectations for leads, technicians, helpers, subcontractors, and supporting crews. Review drawings, scopes, project requirements, and site constraints before and during field execution. Coordinate professionally with project managers, general contractors, electricians, customer representatives, and other trades. Monitor productivity, material needs, documentation, punch-list items, and closeout progress. Identify field issues early and communicate practical solutions. Develop technicians and leads through accountability, coaching, and performance feedback. Key Responsibilities Supervise field execution of low-voltage security projects, including access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, fiber optics, structured cabling, and integrated security systems. Review drawings, specifications, schedules, scopes of work, device layouts, and installation requirements. Plan and coordinate daily and weekly manpower, materials, tools, equipment, and field priorities. Monitor safety, quality, schedule, productivity, workmanship, documentation, and jobsite professionalism. Coordinate field work with project management, general contractors, electricians, customers, and other trades. Support testing, troubleshooting, commissioning, startup, punch-list completion, and project closeout. Ensure redline drawings, daily reports, testing records, material tracking, and closeout documentation are maintained. Hold leads and technicians accountable for safety, quality, productivity, attendance, and jobsite conduct. Manage material, tool, equipment, and installation-debris accountability across assigned work areas. Protect confidential and sensitive customer information. Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED equivalent. Significant commercial low-voltage, structured cabling, access control, security systems, fiber optic, or related technology field experience. Proven ability to supervise crews, leads, subcontractors, or defined work areas on active construction projects. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, wiring diagrams, device schedules, and project scopes. Working knowledge of access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, fiber optics, structured cabling, pathways, testing, and closeout. Strong scheduling, communication, documentation, leadership, conflict-resolution, and problem-solving skills. Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to visit and support active jobsites as required. Must be a U.S. citizen, legally authorized to work in the United States, pass background screening, and obtain secure-site access credentials. Helpful Qualifications Experience supervising government facility, data center, secure-site, or mission-critical low-voltage projects. Experience with access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, fiber optics, structured cabling, and integrated security systems. Experience coordinating EMT, rigid conduit, cable tray, sleeves, J-hooks, and other pathway systems with electrical and construction teams. OSHA 30 certification. Manufacturer certifications related to access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, or integrated security systems. Experience with QA/QC inspections, commissioning, startup, punch lists, daily reports, and closeout documentation. Experience coaching, evaluating, and developing technicians and leads.
